Left for the boot at 5am this morning, got half a mile and stopped by police. Not just one car but SIX cars!!!

I was also flagged-down by the police at a crossroads on Friday, close to midnight.

I thought, "Oh x#~?'<)%!!! " as I was dog-tired and driving the big van, so they were bound to want a look in the back. :(

But no. They just wanted to know if I'd seen a golden retriever type, dog which they'd had reports of, running loose in the area.

I said I'd passed nothing like that in the last ten miles. They said, "Right, well, we shall go up towards Umberleigh then!" and off they went.

Firstly, I was pleased that my info, albeit negative, had been taken seriously. Secondly, I also felt happy to be living in a place where the most important thing on the police agenda at midnight on a Friday was, apparently, a lost dog! :rotfl:

I hope alfie has sorted-out her hand today, even if it has meant a trip to one of the 'white coated men.' (ladies???)

She should have her generator on soon, so hopefully an update???

Slowly catching-up with all your posts, but had to take a big nap, as nothing was making much sense earlier, thanks to having very little sleep since last Wednesday/Thursday night. Will post a couple of pics of DD1's wedding(s) when I can get them on to the 'puter......:)

    You make sure you go!

If you're going to saw or do anything at all which may result in injury, the moral of the story is don't do it at the weekend.
All the consultants & half the staff seem to work Monday to Friday now

Terrible! :eek:So long without fluids isn't at all healthy, regardless of other considerations. :(

Wedding was very MSE, but the guests wouldn't have guessed! :DThe best photos are still copyright, but I'll post something soon as I can.

    :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

F in hell, that is bad....now you can also see why there are so many stories of old people being left for hours on end in corridors on trollies etc,

That looks bad...lol.. didnt mean you Alfie... what i mean is if they can treat an able bodied person like this, what chance do older people, who are afraid to ask, or cant walk out have:o

so glad you made up for the forced mini fast by having loads of cups of tea:D and a chinese...

but make sure you go and sort it out tomorrow....

Cant flipping sleep again.....but i am tired....

Davesnave.... I personally think people can go ott when it comes to the 'big day'

Had some good sales from fleabay tonight, and i have a few watchers with the things i listed tonight, had one bid within seconds of something being listed:T Did have more to ready to list, but things got in the way ( indian takeaway for 2:D) so will list more tonight...:D:D

Piddling it down here.... this weather is enough to make a saint swear:rotfl:
