REALLY HOPE YOU HAVENT DONE ANY SERIOUS DAMAGE.....please take it easy.......
We have had a quick look at electric fences, but we thought as the pig paddock that is being done first is bordering the public footpath, it might be a no-no, but sod them:D as you say it might be worth having one on stand-by just incase we have some houdini's sp?:rotfl:Work to live= not live to work0 -
i know MABEL is the exception BUT i would recomend you have to hand an electric fence kit....:D she put her nose to the bottom of my original stock fence and post set up, and lifted it clean out of the ground... and then trotted off down the road after a group of cyclists ,who didnt know wether to pedal faster or stop...:rotfl::rotfl: they stopped and a neighbour [1/2 mile away] put her in thier garden...:eek: and called me...i bribed her with cake and biscwits all the way home...:D
That's the problem, alfie. :rotfl:
Pigs are really intelligent.
I was once told a fully grown boar can happily run straight through a 9in block wall &, having seen the size & solidness of our boars' heads , I can well believe it. Luckily they never put it to the test
An ordinary fence is to a pig rather like a fly screen is to us particularly if there's something more interesting on the other side. :rotfl:0 -
