Very warm here today: 18C in the shade at 1 pm. We're having a bit of a non-productive day though, waiting for the architect to finish and then whipping over Okehampton way with the two unwanted cockerels. I forgot that they'll share their freedom field with a herd of alpaca, so their survival chances may be higher than I first imagined!
I can send you some poppy seeds, lir. Can't guarantee the colour 100% though!
If we didn't have quince leaf spot I'd keep our tree, but I don't think that will be possible. Neighbour has it too.0 -

We could live on rabbit 365 as it's like ruddy Watership Down here. We'd probably never have to buy meat again :rotfl:
Unfortunately, it's one meat I really struggle with & have done since school. My father used to love it & I can still remember the smell of it cooking - wild rabbit is quite strong in both flavour & aroma.
You'd be better off living as a vegan.
I love eating rabbit, but I absolutely hate the smell of it cooking and getting all the small bones out.
As long as my OH cooks and takes the meat off the bones, I'm fine. The rules are, I do the killing, gutting and skinning and she cooks itFreedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
