    I've been Money Tipped!
We only call it pork & beef because them bloomin' posh Normans ;) brought their French over here & we ended up with two words - one for the animal & one for the cooked meat. :D
    Actually, that's true.

It is. The reason the norman words for meat atuck, was becuase they could afford to eat it. The old words stuck for animals, because the peasants had to deal with the husbandry of them! So what was pig to them, was porc to the eaters.

LIR......... i am going to try and "crack" ruby this weekend ....I HAVE A PLAN !! im going to keep her on her own for 3 days, with me being her "chum" as many times per day as poss. HOPEFULLY by day 3 i MAY be able to catch her [so the book says !!} do you think i should stable her then?? she was much more aminable when she was inside ?? then i walk/groom her every day for everrrrrrr :D

ive put word out for another goosegog...

my silkie cockbird has had what looks like a mini stroke ??:( he is all wobbly on one side and his head is sort of sqwiffy ??

i took my friend again for her last but 4 hospital visit today. i have to take a clean towel to put over the seat in my van as one time she walked in with a blanket of dog hair on her good coat...:o

tomorow i have a friend coming round and i have to see if i can get out of a 2.30 panto meeting ... 1st full day to myself in ages and if i see another bl**dy panto costume i will :eek::eek:

Yes. Not ideal, but under her circumstances i think possibly the best aviable plan.

I would consider giving her treats my hand personally too...but ONLY when she has done something for them. So, if she lets you pat her...she gets a treat. When she is confident with that she has to work harder for the next one.....maybe letting you stroke face or to base of neck. Eventually work up to patting with a rope in your hand and catch her. If you get her now i will try to arrange cover and come down next week.

Sounds like a stroke I think.

It may be okay - I had that with Caligula - one eye actually closed, but he got over it .....only to be murdered by a badger.
