not raining here for a moment. but it is damp and grey outside...
I REALLY hope this isnt the sign of what our summer is going to be like:eek:
just going to have a mooch around the internet, and then get my butt into gear to go to the auction......

Not expecting much due to the weather, plus I know the price of the livestock will be through the roof, as there is a huge dealer there that will be buying loads of stock ready to sell at the royal welsh spring show...

Although I'm not liking what we're getting, especially yesterday, when the heavens opened all over my finished concrete, it's good to see you 'oop norf' are having some decent weather at last. ;)

Here, we can't really grumble, (yet!) as it's been mild and we needed the rain. Indeed, if things quieten down & warm up a little, I'm well placed with plants to go out into the veg garden. :)

Think I'll take it easy and bury the water pipes in the polytunnel today though.

A topper of a day - sun glinting off the snow on them far mountains - gorgeous. Back still bad so will hobble off to the PO & then spend the day listing stuff & having a shuffle out of stuff in the shed that I can live without.

    Deluge here.

And clutch seems to be going on car again. Just had it fixed this month. Why? Why?

All those handbrake turns, donuts and drag strip starts at the traffic lights that you do, I expect!

Seriously, it points to either an incompetent garage or something putting undue strain on it. Considering mine has done 112k miles, it can't have failed through natural causes.

Dry all day here, but not at all nice. I plumbed-in the taps at each end of the polytunnel; a job that took twice as long because I forgot to do it earlier, before the floor was levelled. Had to dig it up again.....:o

Was invited out to a quiz at the pub tonight, but I am too tired. Last time we were doing fine until, near the end, they slipped in a whole round on..... cakes. Hmmm...Noticed a lot of WI members there that night. Say no more! ;)

Dry here, too, but has hardly seemed to get light. It's quite bitter & the wind sounds like thunder rolling up the valley. I think it's starting to build up for tonight's main feature :(
One third of the year gone & not much decent weather.
