Probably not as much as you'd want if this listing is owt to go on
They really should have a category on ebay called "stuff which is improbably cheap compared to the crazy prices people seem to be willing to pay on here". I'd buy from it.

Thanks for those, which I'll send to DD2. They're fun, but mostly not like hers, which are subtle, so the surprise should come from not being noticed initially.....I think.

But it's all arty-farty nonsense to me!:o Why can't she just go out & paint a couple of Van Goughs, or something?

Itsme, if it's only drizzling that side of the Moor, we are making up for it, this side. The Taw was still rising when we returned home and judging by what's happening now, we shall have some real flooding before long. :(

Woman in B&Q thought I was too young to have a Diamond Card, which pleased me greatly. :D She then scanned my liquid feed said "How much!?" because they'd knocked the old stock down to £1. With that, she was off to grab the rest.....:rotfl: I have shedloads of comfrey coming on stream this year, but until then.....

:) Flowers forming on my fast tomatoes now! How's everyone else doing with them?
Don't know what's happened to my courgettes. I'd left them in tiny pots that I seeded them in as we've no space on the rental properties window sill and they're now budding like crazy. Have just potted them into larger pots.

Alex's seeds have germinated in parts. (Thanks again) I have a couple of Green Zebras and Red Currants and a Mortgage Lifter. The ones I gave to my green fingered MIL all collapsed :(

Yes, the Environment Agency are giving a Flood Warning for the Middle Taw - Taw Bridge to Newnham Bridge. :(
    I hope you're not low-lying, Dave.
I guess the upside is that your water table may be rising - if it hasn't all washed straight away. Ours is still not up to the usual winter level although it is increasing a little. The water is usually at full flow - like a fireman's hose - in the winter but it hasn't been like that for about 3 years now. Still plenty there but not the excess there used to be.

My courgettes are also throwing buds now, but they're in the conservatory and I know from experience that they can fail if put out at the wrong time. I'll probably move them into the polytunnel, and if the weather stays like this, they can stay there. ;)

I grow seeds for a friend, who seems to think I have some magical power. Really, its just a propagator and a big conservatory. She gave me some Marmande toms, which she calls "marmalade," so now I'll have some of those too. :D

We're still cooking with last year's peppers, which will get us into early May. As we use peppers all year round, they're one of crop that makes real economic sense to grow. They are almost all new varieties I'm trying this year, so living dangerously

No, I'm just lying low. :D That's our bit of the river though, and Pete will be the one sweating a bit. Highly likely he'll wake up tomorrow to find 2/3 of his farm has vanished temporarily. :(

Spotted the Greater Johnny Kingdom today, stalking something edible in Mole Valley. Could have been a Picnic, or by the colouring, even a Crunchie, but I coughed when I saw our bill and it disappeared from view. :o

:rotfl: Haven't crossed paths with Johnny or Julie for years now. Although I see them on the TV, of course. Never alters, does he? :D

Hope Pete's not got his lambs & 'yaws' in the water-meadows. Ruddy awful weather for lambing, anyway

Do you freeze your peppers? Or do you just continually grow them??

No, they'll be close by his house, and they'll include the ones I spent so much time pulling out of the fences here, being the later ones. Pete knows the river, having lived beside it for over 50 years.

"Last year's peppers," frozen. Year round production isn't economic, although I have one jalapeno hanging on an overwintered plant.

What a shame! I wonder what happened with those... Still time to sow a few more if you've any left (mutters she who hasn't sown any yet, I'm very late this year!). I've got pea plants in and three reduced pots of sweet peas from B&Q, so there'll be something at least, but I find the rain very discouraging. It's barely stopped over the last few days and the weather station says we've had 3 inches of rain this month.
