    Nothing going on gardenig wise here until I can get the hens to stay in their pen. Half of my lilac tree blew down last week when we had snow, so could go and chop that up.

    It's hissing down here BTW. Think I'll take the boy to Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort. They're doing a willow weaving workshop. My wish is, to see if I can get him interested in that, as opposed to Lego! So much more useful and less expensive. I think I may be onto a loser, but if I can show him the delights of potential dens to be built etc... You can live in hope!

    why did the weatherman have to be right for a change:mad:

    Piddling it down here to Rozee, even though they did say we were having rain, i was hoping they got it wrong as usual:rotfl:

    Need to have a re-think of what to do today..

    Even though I am still aching from saturday.. and now my shoulders are in on the act too, from where my rucksack was diggin in with the weight of the cans..I really did want to get more work done outside in the new place..

    We have had a change of plan where the pigs are going to go first.... since thursday there has been a new area of knotweed sprout up:mad: this is where we were thinking of eventually doing more raised beds etc...the previous owners were mowing the whole lot down, so it only looked like lawn mixed with wild flowers etc..so will have to make the most of the smaller side of the garden..

    Will see what hubby suggests when he gets up ( but if i dont like his suggestion we will do something else;))
    Work to live= not live to work

    Pigs may be a holding position and more MSE, but when you are ready, there's plenty you can do about knotweed. ;)

    You probably know a lot already, but I found this link quite good: http://www.devon.gov.uk/japanese_knotweed.htm

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: maybe so but on a ratio...your failures are prob 1%...mine 99% :D

    its blowing a hoolley here today, P'ing down horizontally and mabels NOT happy.:( she doesnt mind frost,snow,cold but rain....:eek:

    ive got to TRY and make a cake !! if i get a ton of supplies [ingredients] i may get success...:D be a very expensive cake tho...my mode of thinking is just invite LIR here and i get them done for me...;)

    well im braving this glorious weather to go get feed and then onto the tip [just incase i fine my "foden" again !!;) ]

    i am determined to get choille and DH to my friends hotel in scotland for a free break SOON.....:D i DO NOT GIVE UP !! she WILL be waited on hand and foot and fed.... and can lay in a bath for the whole duration if desired....:D

    ROZEE.... i spent time in my YOOF with some travelling romanies and learnt painting [barge and wagon lining], making proper wooden pegs and wood carnations . and all my mates/family were saying "oh that will come in usefull ":o well it HAS ! teaching children simple things can all be adapted to a good skill in later life. it gives them the imagination to adapt and use whats to hand and to get pleasure from the results...
