It's going well on ebay so far - had a buy it now offer so am £6 up on my target of £50 with still 13 items listed so fingers crossed I will get there. Making cc payment tomorrow can't wait to get the numbers below £1000! £10 win on the lotto, not the millions I was hoping for but it'll cover this weeks lotto! Might do an updated soa later if I get a chance but I'm afraid ironing is calling :(

£65 paid to cc which brings it down to £985 whoopeeee! :) under the £1000! Worked out our total debt figure now sits at £7950 :( a little sad about it really but at least it's going down and by the end of the year it will hopefully be under £7k mark.

:) started some Christmas shopping today :) I love Christmas - but hoping to do all the kids bits and hubbys for about £500 will keep a tally in my sig and will add other presents into the gift total.

Just a few bids on my ebay listings hopefully it will get a few more over the weekend.

:Thubby finally got a car :T but (there's always a but) we had to lift £300 of the cc together with £250 we had in the bank to put to it. So will have to add £300 onto my sig as a new debt sigh.... but (there it goes again) it could've been a lot worse and the cars taxed and motd for 9 months so fingers crossed we don't have to do to much to it.

On a positive note ebay made £40 :T a few items finish tomorrow and a few more to go on so hopefully they will make a few more pennies. I'm also off a day this week so only two days of work yippee!

I'm keeping my beady little eyes out for when boots start their 3for2 on toys I have said beady little eyes on a few things for christmas and as I have the money tucked away would like to get them before the money evaporates!

Anyways, hope everyones had a good Monday :)
  • Yay! A car!! :j
They mean so much to us, couldn't do without them - not where I live anyway - and they cost us from the day they come til the day they go!!

Seriously, I'm glad you got sorted. There's always that fear that they will be much dearer than we can manage. And I know it seems like a step into further debt but £300 is a lot better than it could have been.

    Anyway good luck with it.

Go you, on the christmas shopping! I am a little jealous but am determined to clear the final £230 on cc2 first, then budget for christmas with 1 less debt and after thats sorted I'll move on to the big one of cc1 £2300
    Well, thats the plan anyway.

I think Boots must've seen my last post as the 3for2 has started yippee:) Ordered the toys I was after which is great. Would love to have Christmas sorted by mid-November! Just have to update sig.

We were able to get £90 for the salvage of OH's other car which was good - it will cover petrol for both cars until the end of the month. Checked banks and considering this month has been so expensive I think we will only be about £50 into the overdraft. OH has a bonus at the end of the month which will cover his overdraft and pay a bit of his CC so all in all things aren't too bad :)

Thanks fantastiyk, we really couldn't do without 2 cars unfortunately they are a necessary evil! But yes it could've been a lot worse! This month has wiped out all our savings and our little pots but at least we had the money there. Just have to try and build it back up again!
  • Hi Mamato3,
You'll get there in no time.
I see your christmas presents are rolling in - great.

My aim is to do it all this year without adding any to our debt. That will keep us happy. I don't get on here as much at the minute as I have been putting all my efforts into getting my challenge met before the end date. It was a challenge - but great to be on this side of it.
Every little sale on ebay, amazon etc does soon add up.

Am glad to hear you got sorted with the car though. Was walking past Boots the other day and saw their 3 for 2 offer, I was thinking of you when I saw the sign :)

Yes I think my local boots staff and I are on first named terms! Thankfully the're lovely girls that work in it and don't mind all my deliveries going into store! Really have to update my sig I've spent £220 of my £300 xmas present money! and have to add £50 onto gift budget for birthday/xmas gifts!

Well done with ebay - i made a total of £75 this month :) nothing listed at the minute though.

My little guys been unwell which has taken up kost of time. Thankfully hes on the mend!

Hubby paid £50 of his cc but there was £9 handling charge so the balance is £259 at the minute but his overdraft is clear which is good. I haven't made my payment to cc yet I'm going to be optimistic and try and get £85 paid this month! Going to empty my 2s & 1s bottle to see what I can rally up in there! Just really want to get rid of it now. The sofa payments finish in May 13 (yippee) if I could have the cc paid by then as well I would be delighted as it would free up almost £100 per month between the two.

Gift total just keeps going up and up! I have added on this months xmas present and birthday expenses ... it really is a lot and still a few more to go as well. The good news is I did get lots of good deals on a lot of things so I'm happy enough.

I had to refund an ebay buyer £10 wasn't too happy about that, it always surprises people complain about things that they know are used! Especially when its specified in a listing  but anyways ebay still did okay in September. Haven't had the energy to list things as yet I have to be in the ebay mood and at the minute I'm not!

I got £12 off a click & collect shop at Mr Ts so I got stuff for ds's birthday party at the weekend still a few things to get though.

Not to much else to report, hope everyones had a good start to October.

Just raided the change bottle which comes to a total of £30 :) together with the £50 I have set aside for cc this month I'm sure I can put another £5 to it and get the £85 of this month :) Just need to get some coin bags and get to the bank which will probably be Monday. But its good just to know that it should be down to £900 next month:)
