The sun is shinning what a nice surprise! I was beginning to think it had forgotten about us over here! Washing out on the line and another load merrily spinning away, fingers crossed the sun lasts more than a day. The weather has been pants over the last lot of weeks!
Very payment made of £15, I'm waiting on £2.40 to go into bank account from Quidco I'll pay this to V. and that will be all payments up to date for a week at least. It feels good paying off even a small bit extra.
Today will be busy and costly, DD is at a summer scheme so just have to drop her off (she gets lunch & dinner there well worth the £25) the boys want to go swimming, this should be interesting, my little guy is not a big fan of the pool! We shall see if it descends into a screaming match! The boys also need their haircuts rather badly, that'll be £15. Also have to get two new school skirts for DD, found a great shop last year sold them for just £8 hoping they still have the same ones. They lasted really well much better than the expensive ones I'd been buying the previous two years.
I have £100 set aside for school shoes but I know it will still come in more than this, DS1 needs football boots, trainers and shoes for big school that alone will probably be more than £100.00. Hoping to sort this out next weekend.
Off to pack swim stuff, will post spending amounts later.0 -
MSE moment today my dd for electricity has gone down by £10 yippee :jIt'll be reviewed again in four months I'm acutually about £60 in credit with them so that should hopefully cover and shortfall over the winter months.
DD's school skirts were £11.90 for two another :jcan't believe I use to pay nearly £17 for one. Swimming went well £7, the boys enjoyed it and no tears from my little guy I think it helped that the pool was pretty empty. A few things in S/burys including a gift card for party ds1 is going to tomorrow and two bottles of pink fizzy stuff for sis and cuz's birthdays.. total amount was £44.70 that was with £4.50 wys coupon. Also posted off cheque for oil grrr.. £156.00 hoping the weather picks up and with using the open fire over the winter hopefully it might last until November time.
Going to put yet another wash out while it's still dry and then try and list a few bits on ebay I use to aim for 5 a day I think I will start that again.
Have a good afternoon:cool:0 -
I had set aside £15 yesterday for the boys' hair cuts thinking it's about £7/7.50 nope £17 for two child haircurts err what! I only had £16 in my purse, I now owe the hairdresser a £1 lol, I must remember concession days are Monday and Tuesday.
My DS1 getting into the swing of things he found 25p outsider the hairdressers and promptly picked it up and put it in his money box when he got home! He's saving for an I-pad mini (a pre used one) told him to get some bits together and I'll put them on ebay for him. Talking of ebay still haven't got round to doing that, really must was totting up some dds still to be paid and with still having to get shoes/stationery and a few other bits for school I think we'll be well into the overdraft by the end of the month.
DDs last day of summer scheme so just to drop her off and then over to sister's with birthday present (homemade apart from the bottle of fizzy) it'll mean £10 of petrol.
Looks like we might get two dry days in a row .. hooray... you would almost think it's summer!0 -
Yay 6 items listed on ebay! A few more to do tomorrow - fingers crossed they get lots of bids!0

Happy Saturday
Woke up at 7 and did a 35 min workout, it's been a while since I've been able to do any fitness with the kids being off school there doesn't seem to be much time, hoping to get a 4 mile walk in tomorrow morning while everyone snoozes! I always feel so much better when I'm working out.
2 more items listed on ebay, no bids as yet on anything, a few more items I have to list so will hopefully get the pictures taken and do that this morning. Not a MSE day today unfortunately have a drinks thing later for a friends birthday couldn't get out of it unfortunately. It will be nice to have a few child free hours with oh in a social setting we don't get out very often. I'm trying to avoid the draw of the shops to buy something to wear!
Off to take photos while everyone sleeps, oh and the sun is out again it's beginning to spoil us!0 -
Ebay doing ok - £13 on bits that finished today and at the minute there's about £18 on tomorrows bits that are ending, hoping to get a few more pennies added to the total.
We did on the school shoes getting a football boots, 2 pairs of trainers and 2 pairs of school shoes for under £100, just dd to sort out now.
Other than that it's been pretty uneventful - will get the £15 paid tomorrow to the V account to get that paid for the week.0 -
£15 paid to V account today only £20 left to pay before the end of the month so I don't incurr any interest.
After I pay ebay fees the total made will be about £48 which was pretty good, I'm just waiting for a few people to pay, hopefully they'll do that today so I can get everything posted off tomorrow.0 -
Can't believe it's been over a month from my last post - I think I need to give myself a severe kick up the back side!
Everyone back to school which has of course been costly I think combined it's been about £110 extra in bits and pieces I'm hoping there's no more the rest of the month.
DH's car is up for MOT this week which resulted in £300 of work to be done  I hate cars! It really made me realise we need an emergency fund so on that note that will be starting from this week even if it's just £5 or £10 it all adds up. We need to start somewhere.
Will update very account tomorrow made a payment today so will update once that clears although I did order a pair of boots and an outfit for going out next month! it came to £43 for both so not to bad and it will save me going out to actual shops where I will no doubt spend much more!
Hoping everyone's well out there in MSE world.0
