It really cheered me up that it went through first time. Didn't feel so good this week mind you, getting the tax for both cars at the grand old total of £197!!! and that's only 6 months on each! But what can you do, we need 2 cars unfortunately.

Good news we managed to pay the total od off at £400!! Bad news the nasty old bank added on more charges than we thought so we actually still have £17 of an od to pay!!! I hate banks!

Anyways after all payments have come out for this month combined debt will be £7094! So at least its heading down! We just need to keep it that way.

We have a big birthday month next month so I'm hoping to get half out of the way this month. Hopefully I'll be able to do this.

Not too much else to report just hoping to stay in the black this month.

    Hellllooooo Diary!

It's been a while since I last posted with the kids being off school and finishing off the OU course (fingers crossed I pass) there hasn't been much time. I have a lot of diaries to catch up on which I'm looking forward to.

On the money front cc is up a bit to £2800  but the good news is 1 finance direct debit has finished with is an extra £42 a month and ds decided he no longer wanted to carry on his Karate classes so that's also an extra £26 a month. I have another finance direct debit finish in November which will be an extra £33. So all in all I'm delighted that there will be a few less dds coming out of the bank. Hopefully I can then put a bit more towards the cc.

Of course we have the dreaded school fees next month of music lessons for both dd & ds which comes to over £320! I'm sure there'll be more to add to that. We've been lucky with oil over the summer but that will no doubt need replenished in next month also.

Today I'm going to put some bits on ebay, I haven't listed in ages, boot sale last week which made £55.00 which was okay considering it was a slow day.

Well it's good to be back and hopefully will post a lot more now!

Cant's sleep, yawn! I'll pay for this later when the kids are up and bouncing about!

Total debt at the minute stands at just over £7000 by Christmas it should be less than £6000.00 which will be great! But of course I have to get through Christmas without adding to the cc which will probably be impossible but fingers crossed anyways! I'm going to start keeping a lookout now for deals etc.

Also need to get back on track with my spending diary which has been non-existent over the summer.

Off to have a wander around the boards while the kiddies are still in bed!

22 items now listed on ebay, a few finish tomorrow but there's only a few bids on them at the minute hopefully that will change!

Not too much else to report out with friends on Friday night and promised dd the cinema tomorrow night so it'll be a bit of a spendy weekend fingers crossed it won't cost too much!

On the plus side school starts in a week yippee!!!

I passed my OU Course :j:j:j I guess there's still a brain rattling about up there somewhere! Just have to decide now if I can afford to do the next course!

Ebay did okay made about £30 but I forgot about the darn postage increase so it would've been about £7.00 more  I have a bracelet that I don't wear that I'm considering putting on I know it'll sell between £50-£80 just don't know whether to put it on or not as it was a gift although, I've never actually worn it! I've a few more bits to put on so will hopefully get them on over the next few days.

CC has stayed the same this month I put a few bits for the kids on it last month so this months payment didn't make any difference really!

School costs for the 3 have come in at around £230 yikes!

We also have my little guys birthday, MIL birthday, SIL birthday and my brother's birthday this month along with a wedding in the middle of the month!!! I fear we will be well into the overdraft by the end of the month! I wanted to start getting a few Christmas things in but I guess that'll just have to wait.

Off to update sig with new ebay total and a few £s spent on gifts so far.

School costs have gone up to almost £280 I knew it was going to be expensive but omg!!

I've also had to add onto the gift total and only a few pounds added onto ebay total. I haven't managed to get my other items listed yet should hopefully do this soon.

Fingers crossed we can get through the month without too much more adding to our increasing finances!

So cc has gone up grrr... gift total has gone up grrrr... ebay total has gone up by £80 yippee!!! Still not great though, there's just so much extra things that seem to pop up lately it seems to be never ending .... sigh!

But anyways hoping to get a few extra days end of Oct/Nov so that will help towards Xmas spends. Not much left to go on ebay but then I always say that and still manage to make a few £££sss hopefully I can find a few more bits to go on in Oct.

Hope everyone elses September's been less spendy than mine!

I had a little read back over some of past diary entries and back in Sept 12 debt was sitting at around 7800 its now down to 6.5k, I'm a little disappointed really, I had hoped to get it down to 6 by Christmas and at the minute it looks like it'll be added to before Christmas never mind going down. I guess, sometimes, you just wonder why you bother and worry so much when it takes so long for things to change! We aren't spendy people, we don't have expensive clothes or lots of meals out it just seems everyday spends just add up to so much more lately.

At least I'm a little organised for Christmas I've a few of my little guys in and few gifts for nieces/nephews all bought while on offer which is good.

But have to say just felt a little disheartened when I totted some numbers up but at least the overall amount has gone down will do a tally up again before the end of the year and to be honest I would be happy if its the same amount and delighted if it was slightly less!!

Just dropped in to add some money onto the gift total it will no doubt go up rapidly this month with xmas purchases and bearing in mind this is just external presents nothing in this is for my own 3! CC will remain at £3000 this month its currently at £3124 and i'll be paying off the £124 to keep it at £3000, total debt is 6883! At the start of the year I'd hoped to have it down to 6K by this stage not much chance of that.

Another 6 months has passed and we're now back to having to tax both cars again at a joint cost of £197!! Grrrrr, anyways what can you do!

Good news is once I do the Tesco double up the vouchers will give me almost £100 to put towards gifts hooray! Just have to work out the best way to use them!

I'm really hoping to keep food shopping down to £350 this month -it'll be tough! But really want to do it I need the extra pennies!

off to have a read of the other boards to try and get some meal inspiration!

:jJust did a double up of vouchers on Mr Ts online got £10 off the total of £62 then doubled up £20 of vouchers to £40 so only had a total of £12 to pay!! Whooppee this will be pjs for all nieces & nephews!! So very happy now - there's still £25 left on my vouchers just need to work out the best way to use those now.
