Thanks Fantastiyk I do get butterflies in my stomach sometimes when I think about it! But as my grandad use to say "the only person who can change your situation is you" so in other words stop whingeing and do something about it! Wise words from a very wise man... I miss him a lot!

But you're right I think February has flown by, considering January dragged in lol and its a short financial month .. even better!

Paid a little of my cc but with dds £215 music lessons to pay I knew I would only be able to make a small payment. Thankfully there shouldn't be too many other school expenses (fingers crossed anyway).

Off to heat up the stew... yummers!!

Mid month check in and I'm a little over the food budget at £207 would have liked it to have been a bit less I'm really hoping to make it under £400.00 for the month. Petrol is still the pain in the neck at £160 no sign of that going down any time soon! No takeaways at all this month. We are taking the kids to an exhibition on Sunday so I knew we would have to keep the pennies for that! I'm hoping for no more that £60 to be spent including entrance fee and snacks will have to go to HB tomorrow to get a few snack things for the kids. I seem to be doing really well during the week then at the weekend it all seems to fally apart! Fingers crossed it won't this time!

There's a few watchers on my ebay items which is good I have a few more to go on tonight so hopefully there'll be a few £s from that.

I thought there would be an over lapping phone bill with changing to Sky this month but in fact they actually owe me £3.19!!! So I have an extra £32 there although, I would like to keep this and make an extra payment to the CC.

We have a pretty busy weekend lined up hopefully I'll be able to keep in control of the finances over it!

Ebay has done well this week with £45 being made :j I have added £35 into my sig as by the time I pay fees and order some more posting bags it will be down to about this. But I'm happy enough. I have few things finishing tonight so I might be able to add a few more £s to the total!

Still waiting on the NW 0% card coming out I wish it would hurry up really wanted to get the balances transferred over.

Off to the post office to post my parcels :)

£10 made on ebay yippee total up to £82 for Jan/Feb which is pretty good. I have a few more things I found so will hopefully get them on tonight or tomorrow.

Gift total has gone up to £80 and ccs still the same :(

Onwards and upwards and all that! At least its only a week until end of the month!

£30 made on ebay :) that brings the total to £112 so far this year. Unfortunately this month is going to be so tight it won't be going towards any extra payments to ccs. We'll just be getting by to be honest. I can honestly say we are still trying to catch up from Christmas there just seems to be something every month. Last month dds music lessons the month before oil and this month yes oil again and dd's grading fee for her music another £49! Next month both cars are due Tax & MOT I really feel like we're just working at the minute just to get through to the end of each month!

I'm waiting to hear back from a job I went for not sure if I would take it if I got offered it the moneys pretty much the same and a few more hours a week but really not as much of an increase as what I would be hoping for to make it worth changing. We shall wait and see though if it's an extra 90-100 per month it would be worth it.

We have put both our ccs on a 0% 20 month cc with the NW so will have to update sig on that there's also been a few adds onto it. Not too sure how much need to get the first statement. I think the balance will be about £2400 grrrrrr!

Anyways off to sort out the ebay bits and pieces for posting!

    Hi Mamato3,
Gosh you're doing great with the ebay sales!! :T

It can be hard sometimes to get down to serious debt busting with one thing after another popping up to be paid for!

How is your course coming on? You must be extra busy with that on top of everything else.

    Best wishes

Hi Fantasityk - thanks for stopping by, can't believe it's been over a month since I last posted! With the Easter Holidays, the course and work, there doesn't seem to be much spare time at the minute!

On the financial side of things we transferred all dds into our joint account and got oh's wages transferred into it as well, we're hoping with all the money in one place we can manage it better. Of course we have a £400 od on oh's account to pay off! Which they informed us they will be charging £20 per month until it's paid grrrrr.... so cc will go on the back burner for a bit and hopefully we can get the od paid off in 2 months, we'll just make a £50 payment to cc for a month or two.

We have been using so much oil it's scary!!! I counted up we've paid over £1100 since August 2012!!!! And we wonder were our money goes!!!

We also have Mot and Tax for both cars to sort out grrr.... so it'll be a pretty expensive few months all in all. The good news is one dd is paid out in May!!! yippeee! Which will be an extra £42 to go towards the many things to pay! But at least it's one thing less going out!

Onwards and upwards and at least it's spring!!

:jHubby's car passed the MOT:j we really thought there was going to be something wrong with it but :j we're very happy!

It has been a bit of a spendy month though, with the kids back to school costs and with the Easter holidays at the start of the month and of course the never ending purchasing of heating oil - I'm amazed we're not bankrupt really! We have three more birthdays this month so a few more pennies will go there!

I haven't had a chance to put much on ebay lately not really sure when I'll get a chance to list with so much going on at the minute.

But I think another little happy smilie is in order :j to celebrate the passing of the MOT!!! Yippee!

    That's great news!!
It's such a relief when they go through first time, isn't it?
there's always the worry that the reason for the fail will be expensive along with the retest fee. It's reassuring too knowing you're driving around in a road worthy/ safe car.
