Just got a nice DTD in T's 78 pack of dishwasher tablets free. Mind you, we've still got a huge stash from the free ones in Sainsbury's 2-3 years ago and the free quantamatics more recently! But I wasn't going to turn them down!

Finish All in 1 Powerball Dishwasher Tablets Lemon (78's)

    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/#/shopping/findproducts.aspx?query=finish%2078&store=tesco

Priced in a section with bigger pack better value at £20.42( yeah right :rotfl: Like we're going to fall for that!)

Priced in their normal section next to the other Finish dishwasher tablets at £10.21! b/code ends 555675 Happy shopping!

Thank you Josie - I bought 2 packs this morning and, after DTD, makes them free. :j:j:j

Just got back from my local Mr T's pick up 2 finest £10 Meal deals with rest of my shop. After paying realised one hadn't gone through as meal deal.
Lady at CS checked what I got got went off to look at shelves and told be that the 2 Millionaires Belgian Chocolate & Caramel tarts I had picked up had been incorrectly put out on the meal deal shelf by the night staff. But with no hesitation she said it was not my fault calculated I had over paid by £7.48 and gave me back £14.96DTD.

My total shop had been reduced from £45 to £22.50 with various coupons, so getting £14.96 back i'm a very happy chappess :j especially if the JTD comes in as I calcualte it to be around £13!! lol I'm getting paid to shop this week
  • Managed to get DTD on Duracell batteries today. Found 2 clipstrips hanging throughout the store, one full price but one had the b.o.g.o.f sticker still attached so keep checking those clipstrips! Free batteries!!!

Please explain how you will get back the £13 as JTD. As far as I know nothing in the meal deal qualifies for JTD, So it must be in the other £25 you spent.

Can I add my thanks to the original post.

I got two free packets too.

The Tesco staff on customer service were very helpful and friendly as well. Policy was applied without demur.

Just a reminder about the Duracell Ultra batteries 4 pack, all the stores I have popped into tonight still have them showing as buy 1 get 1 free either on clip strips or on Duracell floor displays by the till or strapped to shelves in the toy area in a black Duracell sleeve with a big red buy 1 get 1 free, also it looks like Mr A is doing 2 packs for £5.00 so might even be a JTD to be had aswell as they are £4.99 @ pack in Mr T

Visited another 4 stores today 3of them still had the bogoff showing only 1 store had covered and or removed the sel.
2 of the stores after giving me my dtd didn't bother removing the sels so I might pop back tomorrow
  • Wow! Just had my first "big" dtd. I've had my eye on a Nikon Coolpix S6150 camera since just after Christmas. It was reduced from £199 to £99 until the end of Jan. I went in on 1st Feb and sure enough it still had the reduced price on. Disappointingly though it still scanned at £99. About a week later a new SEL appeared; still at £99 but offer now ended to 28th Feb. Without too much hope I returned again today and this time was delighted to be charged £199. One visit to CS and lo and behold a great camera for free and £1 for my troubles. Oh happy days! Isn't it great when a plan just works!

    Snap!
Oh it definitely happened. I should add that when I first went to CS the SA called the manager over and about 4 feet away from me they began whispering to each other. The SA then cheerfully told me that I was right there had been a mistake and that I would be refunded the £100 difference. I then pointed out their DTD policy and she said "Oh yes, I had forgotten" and paid out the £200 but now in a much less happy manner. I suppose she gets full marks for trying.

    Snap again!

Exactly the same happened to me but mine was the black S6100.

I was in a branch this week where the black display unit that the batteries were hanging in had a large BOGOF in a red circle actually printed on the side of the unit. The staff couldn't have removed the offer without removing the entire display.

Sometimes it looks like Mr T is trying to catch out his own staff - certainly he likes to make life hard for them.
