Got paid last night to take away some Finish Quantumatic Starter Kits in the Y0rk branch.
They were advertised at £2.53, but scanned at £5.07. I got 4 and was charged £20.28, and then got £20.32 DTD back.
I just popped to Mr T and scanned these and the starter kit at my local is £10.17 same as the SEL, wish I had seen this before0 -

In my local Extra - sel £2.53, scanned at £2.53.
They look very similar but there is a starter kit (thing + refill) and a refill pack (2 refills). This was the price of the starter kit - it also had a large 'discontinued' sticker on the packaging. If you're not scared, you're not paying attention0 -

Had the Finest meal deal on 17/02/12. Realised I had been charged £17.98. Next week went back and was only given £7.98, JTD.
Sent email to CS, and they tried calling me, then later emailed to say they were sending out £10 moneycard.
Store is B1sh0p Auckl8nd. Which is quite a new store.
Would never have known about DTD but for this site.:rotfl:0 -
Hi guys,
I wonder if you can help me! Ive been following these boards for quite a while now, getting all the tips and looking out to get good deals. I went into Mr T yday and for the first time ever i found an item that had an expired SEL. It was £59.99 reduced from £160 with an expired sel of 18/01/12.
I was so excited when i saw this thinking that i had actually found a DTD deal. However i was soon disappointed when i went to the self service till to double check the price and it came up as £59.99.
Do they do it electronically now? was the SEL too OLD and does it only work on SEL's that are only one or two days over the expired date?
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks0
