Tesco Misprices thread 13

They sometimes do but if its a high value one I pay by card and say I put my PIN in without checking the amount "because I trusted Tesco to get it right" (shameless lie, wouldn't trust Tesco pricing if they paid me... which they do!).
Small DTD in D!dc0t, Finest cold meats some are on special £2, some £2.70 or 2for£4. All had been put together with £2 SEL for £1.30 after DTD.
Of course D!dc0t were useless as ever and had put a big £1 SEL in front of the £2 SELs so paid 70p to take it away. Hope they keep it up
You use your card? I hope thats not a Tesco Credit card as they can scrutinise your transaction history with ease.0 -
no they can't its illegal unless they have a court order and its run by royal bank anyway.0

I assure you it is not linked by transactions, I work in this line of business and DPA is very strict with this sort of thing.0

well, i've only just stopped using mine but never been banned and never had problem. just stopped to be on the safe side but i do find the paranoia distracting. if you read this site, some people have problems straight away others never. i've been trouted on 1p nuts and other SA s are cool. I try to lower my voice, keep cool and never sound annoyed even when they say no.grocery challenge 9.86/600

went to spend some coupons last night at Mr T's and picked up a 1.4ltr Flash with Febreze all purpose cleaner (New Zealand Springs). Was on the in your face offers shelf with 2 other scents marked half price £1.40. It went through at the till at £2.80. CS went and checked the shelf and came back and said that the scent i'd picked up was not on the offer but as the shelf was fully stocked with that scent they refunded DTD of £2.80. As I'd used a £1 coupon to buy it I figure I've been paid £3.80 for buying it!
Might be my maths but I read that as you being paid £1.00 to take it away as you had an initial outlay of £2.80.0 -

I fell lucky with my phone dtd - I got talking to the checkout operater and realised I had a leaking milk - he called for help and I helped the woman who came to mop up and just handed over my card. Lo and behold , when I got to CS , it was the woman I had helped mop up. All I had to say was 'sorry - i didnt notice the price as I was helping you mop up';)0
