Yep I have the same problem in one of my locals the security guard follows me round, I love it hide and seek, with the bonus of DTD if I can lose him for long enough, makes me laugh while he follows me you can hear the alarms going off at the front door, shop lifters having a field day whilst he's not there
I'm sure I get followed in mine by the security guard on CCTV. I tend to scoot round by the magazines when I go in to avoid the trout on CS desk seeing me
  • can any one give me some advice . i was in 3 tesco s stores here in ireland . the sel advertised a product say for example 2 pounds for 200 gram bag of sweets . but the product above is a 175g bag and scans at 2 pound . the bar code matches the sel in all 3 stores i checked up to now .
how do i stand on dtd because i was over charged by weight ?
    advice welcome thanku

Im sure I saw something posted which was similar last week on chickens. Cant be sure but think the op said she called head office and they sent a gift card. I know this is not much help but I know i saw it on one of these threads recently. It might have been the JTD board. If I find it I will come back and post a link :)

Check your receipts if you get the large chicken on offer at £2/kg. last night had my shopping delivered and got large chicken labelled £4/kg and charged accordingly. On invoice it said unit price 2.00 but total price charged at £4/kg. a quick call to cs, apologies and full refund, result free chicken! Hth x

I think i got confused with this post sorry:o but you can certainly try Head Office 0800505555 :)

Good Morning all. Little Dtd today Baking Potato's 2.5kg £1.75 Yellow SEL a bit further along from them BOGOF. Didn't even notice it was an out of date SEL. Paid £3.50. Went to CS who tried to give me £3.50 refund til I asked her Do I not get Dtd. Oh yes was her reply. £7.00 returned to me without even a hint of a smile!! Thanks Mr T:)

My local store, see me coming now, even my genuine shopping receipt is scrutinsed, and i get dtd on everything, even if it s few pence.
I got banned from mine. For 24 hours, until it became front page news in the local paper and I got a grovelling apology from HO and the store manager. The best part was as part of their "proof" that I was trying to obtain DTD they showed me their DTD report, which showed that on most items they had overcharged people before and after me - e.g. they hadn't bothered to correct the SEL. They weren't best pleased when I pointed it out!

For some reason Tescos didn't sell the local paper on that day :). I now get treated with a mix of fear and trepidation whenever I go in there.

Is it true that iPads were going for £49.99 on tesco direct yesterday? Did anyone purchase one? I hear Tesco have withdrawn it as an error and won't honour the sale now. Is this true?
