for anyone in East MIds who can get to L0ng E@t0n store...they have the medium size Green & Blacks eggs on OOD SEL as £6 or 2 for £8.....making DTD £8....if you use the £2.50 off voucher in the price drop magazine, it makes the eggs £1.50 for two :)

they only have the butterscotch or dark chocolate flavour though. Its half way down the easter egg aisle on the bottom shelf where the other G&B eggs are. IMO, I dont think they're worth it, hence seeing them twice now and not getting them....but these might be someones cup of tea!!! :)

****EDIT**** Scrap the above,...just noticed they are £6 BOGOF now, so you wont get DTD...you can still use the £2.50 price drop cupon though as the till recognises the amount before the BOGOF applies :)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

Daffodills in Tesco now reduced from £1 to 10p.
Purchased mine with my shopping. All prices correct, hoever, I went to CS to hand in a purse I had found on the Easter Egg shelves. You should have seen the old trouts face change when she realised I wasn't claiming Dtd on anything. It was a picture!!;)

Went into my local Tesco Surray Quays, and see a lovely pair of wedges that would go excellent with my outfit for friday night. Took to customer service to ask how much as had no label. When they typed in the number from the little label inside the shoe they said that they wasnt on file and could not sell them to me. When i said that there were other pairs on the hook with a barcode they said that could scan them and give me my size. When scanned they came up as £1, instead of £10 as on label. Also purchased a pair of leggings which was needed, labelled up £6, scanned at £2.

    Love a bargain!

( i have picture but dont know how to attach, sorry)

Can anyone tell me what the policy is in Tesco for an item which has been purchased and is the wrong price. Yesterday I bought triple pack of mints x two packs. I normally buy them in Poundland but saw them on the shelf in Tesco for 75p (white label so not reduced) so thought I would buy 2 packs. I had bought various magazines with free items attached (I'll list these separately if not already listed), so I wanted to check my receipt before I left the store. That's when I noticed I was charged £1 each for the mints so I went to Customer Services and the man there went to check the counter. He came back with the 75p white label in his hand and said the boxes of mints had been put in the wrong place and it was other mints which should have been there. He offered to refund me but nothing else so I just kept them. Do they have a policy for this sort of thing happening?

If they trully were the wrong mints then not sure that you will get anywhere, you need to check the SEL as carefully as you need to check your receipt.

Rubbish. If Tescos have put the wrong product out (as opposed to just one or two products put in front of the "right" product by a customer) then they have overcharged you and should give you double the difference. It is NOT the customers job to check SELs, it's Tescos job - that's why the price is five times the size of the product description.

I have got DTD many times on this occasion. If CS refuse to give you DTD then get them to phone head office on 0800 505 555 who will do the arguing for you. If you phone HO now they will normally give you DTD on a giftcard and sometimes more as compensation.

Thanks for that, Obukit. I did think that because I lifted the mints out of the box and not just random items left there, the price was clearly 75p and Customer Services said they were for non sugar-free mints and mine were sugar free. Someone had stacked the shelf wrongly and the whole shelf was very neatly stacked, not messy at all. It was only 2 x 25p so would have only been £1 for DTD but it just didn't seem right. He took the white 75p label off the shelf and brought it over. I did say to him "is there not something else you should do"? He said that he could refund me if I wished but I felt a bit embarrassed so just kept them as they would have cost the same in Poundland but I would only have bought one pack of 3 at a time. Only bought 2 packs in Tesco because they were cheaper. I'll phone the number you've given me tomorrow and see what they say. Cheers for that.:)

Is it really worth attracting so much attention for such a small DTD, I would rather stay under the radar and wait for the big one:cool:

I've only had one DTD and it was a genuine purchase a year past just before Valentine's Day. I stopped to check my receipt as it came to more than I thought for just a few items. That was when I discovered that I was charged double what the SEL said for a set of 2 heart shaped clear dishes. The girl automatically gave me DTD and explained why. I thought she would just give me the difference to what I paid and what the SEL said so I was very pleased. I've since learned all about this DTD on the forums here but haven't intentionally bought anything to get DTD. I possibly would if I was in town more regularly and there was something listed on here which I wanted. I think I will phone HO tomorrow though as a matter of principle. Cheers.
