If you read the blue board, dtd is in addition to tescos returns policy and statutory rights, so there is absolutely no reason if you change your mind that you cannot return your item for a full refund. Head office will confirm you can do this even if the receipt has been marked but it causes less fuss instore if it hasn't been signed as many staff struggle to understand their companies policy.:D:D:D:D:D0 -

This is incorrect and misleading.
Tesco HO confirmed that you can return the item, but you would be refunded the amount which was on the original sel, as you had already been refunded the difference. There is a thread somewhere where this is clearly explained and has a copy of the communication from HO. If anyone chooses to return on a 'golden' receipt, they should be fully aware that what they are doing is not strictly legal. Everyone has their own morals - but we should all be careful not to give incorrect information.0 -
I'm going to add my tuppence CS don't even know the rules, a. friend has been given full refund on dtd item and the lower price on the same item in different stores!!MSE- The Glitchhikers guide to the galaxy0

i have lost count the number of times that an incorrect label has been placed infrot of an item in tesco but the label is for the item only the item is bigger and dearer.i think they do it on purpose becuase not many people check there receipts and yes it may only be 50 or 60p dearer but if 500 people buy that product thinking its the price on the sel and dont cheque there reseipt.big profit for tesco.i think they do it on purpose becuase it happens so iften.
just my 2 peneth0 -

Yep I have the same problem in one of my locals the security guard follows me round, I love it hide and seek, with the bonus of DTD if I can lose him for long enough, makes me laugh while he follows me you can hear the alarms going off at the front door, shop lifters having a field day whilst he's not there0 -
Hi, bought two Disney DVDs today from Tescos should be on bogof the sel said £15 picked up Lion King and Bambi went through till at £30 with a £10 discount making the total to £20 instead of £15 discount so a nice DTD refund of £10 two disney DVDs for a Tenner !!
