    Good stuff! :)

I take it you did that yourself? How difficult is it to do the job...any special tools required?

No, that's part and labour at the garage :)

So there we go....MoT 'till April next year :) Will need a couple of rear tyres before long (advisory) but that's only £40 and they've been on since before I got it.....Cracking little motor this has turned out to be.

On a similar note, Mini-Gun#1's just had his dad-sourced banger MoT'd again, £100 for the work and he'll be good for another year. That'll be the third MoT we've put it through at an average cost of £120 each (0, 260 and now this one for 100). Not bad for a £450 Suzuki :D

Gotta love Bangernomics for cheap motoring :):D

Another years MOT on the 08 Pug 207 HDI (13 months really :D) and only needed 2 bulbs, a CV boot clip and the back box of the exhaust securing.

Bulbs I knew about but couldn't get my hand in to change them. I also knew about the insecure back box, sourced a custom-ish made bracket off that there eBay which the garage kindly fitted saving on having to weld it up or replace the whole back box.

Total cost less than £100 including the MOT test fee.

I did a lower Ball joint for MOT last week. 2/5 spanners in Haynes manual ie really easy. My dad had an old ball joint splitter. The tool just bent. I bought a tuning fork type tool. I spent ages hammering it in with a lump hammer. Didn't move. I bought another splitter. Instead of pushing the bolt out the bolt split into three like a tripod. In the end removed suspension arm sawed the remains of bolt off and drilled it out. Old cars can be hard work.

Excellent!! Approaching 2 years with the fusion, and the overall average is still over 60mpg :)

Once I hit the 2-year point I might stop logging all fuel & mileage, I can have confidence it's good :D
