even asked me questions about feedback and who I had applied to etc.

Yep, that is especially difficult for the jobs I apply via Gumtree for example where there is no nam/contact number of the company/person - just an advert and a box to type in/attach a CV so really I do not know where I applied to or who the contact person is... and that raised a few eyebrows at JC...sigh....

  • Why do you feel this is? If true of course.

.... I went to London for a few days last year and during that time I went into various supermarkets, newsagents, fast food restaurants, coffee shops, ticket offices and stations and not one British member of staff did I see.

No, I am not repeating what you are saying - you just simple refuse to see a point of view different to your own.

I am not talking about interest or preference or ability to learn. It is more than that that makes a good professional in quite a few disciplines.

And right now I am going to bed so....

    Nite nite all.

Yes, I refuse to entertain the viewpoint that individuals cannot better themselves and become competent in any field they so choose.

I refuse to believe that I do not have control over this part of my destiny. If I want to become a doctor, I have the ability to learn how to become one. I choose not to, of course, because other careers appeal to me more.

But to suggest that I should simply not bother, and that I might be 'dangerous' simply because I had to put in a little more effort than some do, is quite frankly ridiculous.

The qualities that are needed for almost any profession are hard work, time management, and discipline. Everything else comes through application of those three.

I am asking what do you think is the reason for that?

I live in London, I know the mix here and no, I am not born here myself although have a British passport since.. ages ago.

No, you just simply do not understnd at all what I am saying.. that is fine though.

This is a public forum, everyone is entiled to their own opinion and nobody else has to agree with this.

But for the record - I am not saying what you suggest I am saying. This is just your (wrong) interpretation of what I am saying...

My apologies, but it is hard to interpret what you mean.

"A call" towards a certain profession?

It does just sound mystical to me. Sorry.

Perhaps I would indeed agree if I could understand what you are trying to say. All I have to go off here is the content of your posts, and none of it seems very clear to me at all, other than "some people are better suited than others". Which can be true at an instantaneous point in time, but not with training...

But there is no need to "interpret" what I mean.

Just read what I write without trying to interpret it in any way.

    Stress on certain professions.
