    Hiya

Thanks for the chart Fred, and well done Cabby for SOTW - loved your lent idea, I think I'll give up pancakes too! :rotfl:OH and I have been telling people we're giving up chocolate and cakes, but as we don't eat either of those, it's not going to make a big difference, lol.

Fred - can you put me down for 8 kms please. Can you count 6 hours of linedancing too?

    Back soon.

That sounds like quite a helpful feature. Think I need to persist with it a little longer and see if I get used to it :)

Yes, I agree with Jess, you need to personalise it with the foods you eat regularly. Once you've done the groundwork you'll find it's much quicker.

One thing I've struggled with in the past is trying to work out calories (or WW points) for a dish I've made from scratch, as it will be shared with OH. He has a larger portion than me, but what proportion, and how many calories/points is my portion?

OH eats a bit more than half therefore I have a bit less than half so the way I deal with it is to base the division roughly on a 3/8ths / 5/8ths split - i.e. the total calories/points for all the ingredients, divided by 8 and multiplied by 3.

I just pressed the Thanks button, but what I really wanted was to say Like, like Facebook - lol!

It's great when people do start to notice. I've only had a few comments and one of them was someone who knows I'm doing WW so she was probably being polite! It does help to spur you on though.

I'm really hoping to lose a couple of stone by the middle of April which is when I return to the UK, to surprise friends and family who haven't seen me since October.

    Have a good weekend!

That is exactly why I don't cook as much as I used to!

Mealtimes are a nightmare in our house, lol. I don't like most of the things DS1 likes, and he doesn't like most of the things I like, so I usually make two seperate meals - I have to count the calories in my meal, and I have to count the carbs in his meal (Type 1 Diabetic). Then, my baby is lactose intolerant so he can't eat a lot of things, so I usually end up making him something completely different too!

It wears me out just thinking about it! :rotfl:
  • Thanks, Lolly - that's the one! The options are quite overwhelming, think I'll put in an order next week :)

These limited edition kit kat chunkies might be the ruin of me...

Is the idea that you use this as a meal replacement - or is it in addition to your meals??
