I stopped smoking and expected to put on loads more weight, I was already overweight by about a stone or so. A few weeks later I became vegan and the weight is dropping off me no matter how much I eat!! I am also more in touch with my body now and sugar cravingsa are gfoing and I dance to my housework - its truly amazing ladies. Hope one or two of you are able to try this and yes chocolate as long as it contains no dairy produce is allowed.

I'll start logging again on Wednesday. As of now I'm 850g x 2 less than I was yesterday, gone from 36GG bra to 36A/B.

I was asked to come in for 7.30 am but in fact I didn't go to theatre until about 1.30pm. As the last meal I'd had was a lovely meaty stew with DH the previous afternoon, you can guess I was pretty hungry. All I had yesterday was a small buttered roll and a Muller-lite yogurt. For breakfast I had fresh fruit salad, scrambled egg and a croissant. For lunch I've had meat balls in pasta (didn't eat much of the pasta) and ice-cream. I thought I deserved a treat after the fasting day before, but will get back to normal once I get home. You can tell this isn't NHS food! DH went to Waitrose next door to the hospital for breakfast yesterday and he did some shopping while it was quiet. He's promised me smoked salmon and scrambled egg for breakfast - normally that's our Christmas morning treat!

Hey guys! Hope all is well!

I went to belly dancing on friday, its pretty good! They are learning a dance for a show in April so i was thrown right in the deep end. Doubt it burns many calories but it does get me moving i suppose.

I'm still on a really major chocolate addiction :( I just can't get enough lately and i have no idea why.

Hope you're loving your new boobs margaretclare!
  • Since I've been able to get into the shower properly at home, I've been able to see what I look like now. It looks a bit odd because the incisions are closed with glue but there's also the black felt-tip lines where the surgeon drew on me before theatre, and also, my nipples have waterproof dressings stuck on them. I've certainly got the tiny little boobs that I wanted, though! I think I'd better start the weight recording at 68.8 kg though. This is exactly the same as a week ago i.e. before surgery, but this is only the 4th post-op day and there's sure to be swelling, fluid retention etc and it will take time for it all to subside and heal up properly. In the meantime I've been warned to do absolutely nothing, just rest, rest, rest, take things very easy and be patient. We are having good food but not too much i.e. quality not quantity. Yesterday for lunch we had liver and onions, green cabbage, a couple of little new potatoes and half an orange. I didn't want anything else at all for the rest of the day, just had a fruity Greek yogurt and that was it.

Just a thought, have you cut out / reduced your coffee / tea or carbonated drinks intake? If so you could just be after a caffiene fix, that or you just love chocolate ;)
