+2lb gain for me this week  despite walking a good 10 miles with the dog mostly on thr beach (its harder!) and an hour in the gym. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow to reassess my thyriod as since having my throxine reduced in September I have put on 10lb. I wasn't good in December but for weeks now I have been watching what I eat, and have kick started the activity levels again but its not helping.
Sorry Fredsnail keep forgetting to count the stairs but its loads!DFW Nerd 1394.

Thank you for the chart Fred, you are a star
Wow I am SOTW - it might even have been worth being ill
Completed my third week of the 5:2 diet. It definitely gets easier and you do begin to get used to feeling hungry. I think you need to be careful not to become obsessed though, found myself thinking yesterday of fitting in an extra days fasting this week  Gave myself a good talking to and will not be doing that.
Have a good day everyone.
Hi Jess, your weight loss over the last few weeks is impressive. Do you think its down to the 5:2 diet and is it easy to stick too? Do you watch what you eat on the other days?
Well done you.:TDFW Nerd 1394.

Hi Frodo,
Yes I think it has been due to the 5:2 diet, but I am beginning to wonder whether it is sustainable? I have had a week off work this week and haven't fasted at all yet. (I am planning on fasting at the end of this week so will be doing my 2 days) As a result have put back on the 3lb I lost last week:eek: To complicate matters I have not been to the gym as still not feeling very well so I am not sure whether some of the weight gain is due to that. I am going to keep at it for at least another month or two as I think it really needs a long term approach to see whether it is worth continuing. I have not found myself over eating on my 'feeding days', if anything I think it is helping me to gain some control over what I eat.
Fred - can you put me down for a 3lb gain and 0 exercise :eek:0 -
Another good week for me, I have lost 2 1/2 lbs and not only that, another inch off my waist :j:j:j:j
