wow, you guys are so doing so well!

Pete and i are still struggling to cook decent meals, a £6 chicken had to be thrown today because we missed its used by date, grrrrr! So pizza it had to be :( Although we mainly keep missing it due to losing track of time whilst shopping/having fun, and i wouldn't swap that for a £6 chicken!

I start my voluntary work tomorrow at an animal shelter! I'm really looking forward to having a bit more purpose to my day, and hopefully a bit of movement to work off that pizza would be a good move!

    Beanie: Well done you!

Fred: Love reading the weekly quotes!

Tupperware queen Well done on those lost inches, that's really impressive! I keep meaning to measure myself, but i only have a diy tape measure so i doubt that will do the job ;)

Well so far so good. After reading a bit more about the benefits of fasting (Eat, Stop, Eat) I decided to not eat anything until teatime (5.50 p.m.)

Kept myself busy, bought lots of fruit teas and didn't find it too difficult. The worst time was lunch time but the hunger did subside a little by about 2 pm.

Now need to decide which other day this week to fast. Tempted to do a workday as less time to think about it (I only work part time) but a bit worried that it might make me a bit irritable. Also, don't really want to do the weekend - decisions ;)

Good luck at the gym Tupperware-Queen.

Work days are best for me, I go without anything till dinner, take a walk at lunch.

Word of warning about fruit teas, they can be corrosive to your teeth, so be careful not to drink them too much. Peppermint tea would be my top choice, closely followed by plain green tea.

Thanks for the information about fruit tea Daedalus, I didn't know that. Also like green tea so will alternate with those.

I might try workdays once I am a bit more used to fasting. I usually struggle to fit in lunch anyway and just end up grabbing something, so it does seem ideal. I work with children and just a bit worried that I might be a bit 'crabby' without food and that wouldn't be fair on the little darlings ;)

This week my plan is to build in more exercise. I only did 60 mins on my xtrainer last week so a slow week for me exercise wise.
Tomorrow I WILL do 20 mins xtrainer and 10 on the ex bike, Also walk for half an hour on the good old school run! Wed I will walk for 1 hour school run and 20 mins to meet a friend for coffee and make sure I do my weights. I'll update on here to keep me motivated. I did lose 2lbs this week but I can almost hear my body slowing down and I really want to keep loosing and sustain my weightloss. X

I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets crabby when they're hungry. OH used to get the brunt of it sometimes when I'd come home from work starving and then have to cook a meal!

Oh i didn't know about the fruit tea either! I mainly drink peppermint or lemon and ginger, so hopefully i'd be ok with those!

Volunteering was great! I held lots of hedgehogs, guinea pigs and spoke to many an animal. The poor young girl i was with probably wondered what mental hospital i had escaped from!
