Can't believe how many people here cling to decimal points so much when weighing themselves. I'm trying to lose 50lbs which is probably a bit more than a lot of people here but just round it up. If the scales said '.6' I'd just round it up a pound. A single pound can come and go pretty easily so those decimals could change by the next morning or evening.
But if you keep rounding up your 0.6 to a 1lb, you wont really have lost 50lb - only 30lb. As they say in Asda - every little helps.0 -

A STS for me this week please Fred.
Just 8 weeks now until my 5k run. I need to get serious about training if I even hope to run it. The snow has put me back as I am really not happy with attempting to run on the treadmill. Hoping for a bit more of a thaw so that I can get out today.
Good luck with the weigh in this week everyone.0 -

-1lb for me this week. Thought it would be a gain, so pleasantly surprised. Been really naughty all week with trying to get this flat ready for Bendy!
As soon as Thursday is out the way I'll be able to relax more and get more into things.

Hi folks,
I managed to do very limited outdoor cycling, a few outdoor short walks and some indoor cycling since last Wednesday. Being indoors more is never as therepeutic to me perhaps leading to overeating sometimes. Also, had two indoor accidents in one day (a badly cut finger and foot injury) causing even more of a challenge. Exercise is now very difficult but am focussing on healing myself.
Anyway, my result is - 2lbs fredsnail.
Take care!0 -
Morning all,
another STS for me... not counting any fractions here, unfortunately.
Hmm, really not doing 'the plan' as I should, although have introduced many of the principles, and do have a menu plan organised for the next 2 weeks, so hope that does the trick. Having said that, we're off to friends tonight for dinner. Ho-hum, must try harder.
p.s. I thought it was a rule that to contribute on this thread you have to be nice, and not critical? Just sayingOne day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

-1lb for me this week. Was hoping for more but heyho, have achieved the 5lb loss now this month so that's good!
Subjected myself to another jillian michaels DVD at the weekend but a 40/50 minute one this time
I was in pain for 2 days after so had to delay my level 2 start but managed it last night and hopefully again tonight.
Not as much weight loss as I would have liked for all the effort but I must be losing inches as my clothes feel looser, wish I'd measured at the start so I could track!0 -
I'm using myfitnesspal and finding it really brilliant! Today I will have walked for 3.5 miles. Now my feet hurt, stupid boots... Was going to go on the cross trainer but my feet hurt too much! Must be the week for injuries! Well done everyone. Lets stay positive and friendly!! I also use myfitnesspal after somebody on here recommended it and it is the easiest method I have every used, I find it really easy to stick to, and I never would have thought I would count calories.DFW Nerd 1394.
