I want lots of snow tomorrow - but we'll not get much if any over here as we're so far west and also close to the coast.:o
I'd rather lots so that people don't feel like they have to try to get to work, rather than the light bits that hide the ice.0 -
Fred - thanks for the charts. Another 2.5km walking to work to be added for today - as i doing so well can you alter my target to the full 50km for this month.....

Well it was a rest day for me yesterday as I was so knackered my body just said nO! However, I did walk 2 miles because that's the school run!
Today my sons got a snow day so no school run walk. Sounds daft but its easy exercise for me so I quite like it! Keeps me motivated anyway. Hoping to do 20 mins on the bike and 20 on the x trainer. Also got a walk to see my boss which will take about 45 mins so not a total waste! No you're not - I hate it.
I work in a school and if the school is closed because of snow, I get the day off WITH PAY!
I was really hoping the snow would come down during the night and prevent me going to work, but unfortunately it didn't start until I got there so I spent the day worrying about my journey home. As it happened, it wasn't too bad as there was hardly any traffic.
Picked up supplies on my way home so we can hibernate this weekend.

I have never frequented this part of the forum before, but really need to shed the pounds this year before I hit the big 4 0!!
I have been walking or swimming every single day since 1st Jan, and have just received my '30 day shred' DVD. So far I have done it yesterday and today, and boy, do I ache!!!
I am also watching what I eat, trying to make it realistic not restrictive (just had a bacon and egg buttie after doing my shred). The key for me is portion control, I am a 'pile it high' kind of a girl, so really need to keep an eye on that.
I am using Noom, an android app, to log all my food, exercise and weight etc, finding it really good, and interesting to see how many calories I use up throughout the day - this has significantly cut down my evening snacking.
My starting weight, which I first measured on 10th Jan, was 88.1kg, weight on 18th 87.3kg.Getting fit for 2013 - Starting weight 10.1.13 88.1kg

I think I'll stop posting on this thread for a little while. Still trying to lose weight, but at present am battling a cold which has blocked my upper respiratory passages. As I have catarrh in my head, my ears etc I'm sure that weight will be inaccurate because of fluid retention. In addition, I'm going for reduction mammoplasty (breast reduction) - should have been today but been re-scheduled to 22nd February because of this cold. Have been told my boobs may weigh approx 1 kg each and obviously, after surgery my total weight should be that much less. It's planned for me to go from size 36GG to A/B.
When the weather starts getting better and my cold goes I can start doing some exercise again, but not just now.
Good luck to all!Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.
