My first weigh in since Boxing Day and it is another 4lb gain for me.
Fred could you also set me to 0 and pink me. Psychologically it might help to feel like I am having a fresh start.

Back at work today and the place is full of Christmas goodies but so far managed to resist and have managed 3 wheat free days. Already feeling much healthier.

Signed up for the Stroke Society Resolution 5k run in March. Planning to use the Couch to 5k to train for it - starting Sunday. I have only managed 2 weeks in the past before having problems with my knees. I am thinking of training on the local running track to see if the level ground helps.

Well done Lolly, fantastic weight loss. Good luck with the weight loss this week everyone.

Well done all the losers and STS - keep fighting gainers :j

I am changing my weigh in day - it was Monday (as that's when I started fresh) but will weigh in Wednesday next week now, and make that my first *hopefully* loss

I have done the 30 day shred workout Mon, tue, wed - GREAT START - plan on doing it tonight also and must say it is getting better. At first when I start it again, I feel so so unfit on the first workout, but last night when I did it I wasn't struggling through it as much and found I could push myself a bit harder.

Food has been good - I have had no naughty snacks or treats in between meals and generally eating rather well. I have wine left over from Christmas one rose and one white - I am giving one to a lady I work with and one to my sister. I would only open the bottle, have one glass, get bored and chuck it down the sink anyway - and plus, it's additional calories that I DON'T need!

FRED can you put me in the 5lb challenge please - but set me at 10lb - that's my first mini target.

Can someone explain to me how the resolutions work please? :o

Hope you all have a good day
    linz x

I have 3 big downfalls. Crisps, Bread and Butter. I have a wee bit of a food addiction thing going on too, not as bad as some though. I never feel full. When I'm on a downer I can eat crisps like there's no tomorrow. So I'm hoping that keeping them as a once a week/fortnight treat will see some results.

I do love my bread n butter with my dinner though.

I'll give some of the wheat free breads a go and see how I get on. Trying to stay off butter completely.

I'm a very picky eater, and this is what gets me everytime, is the lack of choice given how fussy I am. I just love my grub.

I used to think this too, whenever I 'dieted' all I could then think about was bread, sugar etc etc... Because i associated it with dieting - try to loose the 'diet' connection and just eat what feels good but in proportion. For example I now eat everything I want to but just in a good size and at the right time of day as a lifestyle not a diet :)

    Hi all

Fred - thanks for the chart.

Lolly - well done for SOTW - starving for 2 days really seems to work for you. :T

I'm trying to decide what plan to follow, I've considered SW, thinking about the 5:2 plan, and I've just ordered Paul McKenna's new gastric band hypnosis book, which they claim has a 99% success rate. I paid a lot of money for hypnosis before, but the hypnotist made lots of assumptions about me which really annoyed me, and it didn't work.

Whatever I decide to do I really need to focus, it's not happening yet.
