Hiya
Well, I had a feeling it wasn't going to be good news on the scales this morning and I was right, but I've only gained 5lbs and last year I gained 8lbs over Christmas, so it could have been worse!
Catch you all later.

Hi Guys, Happy new year everyone! _party_
Hey Nicky! :hello: Welcome to the thread!
Hi Jak! I know how you feel with the 13 resolutions, there are so many things that I want to conquer this year. It's all a bit overwhelming so I'm considering intorducing a new one each month, the idea being that by the end of each month I'll have made a good start on each, and by the end of the year, everything will be perfect and complete.... not sure it will work out like that tholol.
Go Beanie! Well done on making the maintainers list! :j (I've been trying to work my way back through the thread to catch up!)
Well done Leictina! :j An STS over Xmas is amazing!
Fred, can you please add me to the 5lb a month challenge and the exercise challenge for the full 50km. Thanks
Well my diet starts today as I was feeling pretty useless and hungover yesterday. I've been reading up on the 5/2 diet and think I may start that tomorrow, while continuing going without bread and things. Will have more time to read up later but it's definitely something I'm looking into trying. Anyone had any experience with it?
Back later...0 -
Hello everybody,
+2lbs since last Wednesday which is my 2lb on, 2lb off trend.
I've had a think about New Year Resolutions but have concluded that mine are more ongoing aims. Consequently, fredsnail please enter me for the no resolutions team. Hope this will motivate me to persevere. I also feel that my diet is "all wrong" so will be gradually changing this as I use up what I have; want to be healthy at a given weight.0 -
Well.....first proper day of 'diet' went well - 3 balanced meals and only fruit as snacks. Off to use up the fruit salad from last night and will try to avoid the chocolate! Also managed to motivate myself for dav 1 of the shred - it's gonna hurt tomorrow!!0
