I wondered when we would have your wisdom on this subject. Cant you give it a rest? Can you not see that we are all talking about a TREAT-something extra special to put a smile on our faces once in a (long) while?

The thing about Krispy Kreme is that you need to have them when they are fresh....just made! For me, and most people I know.... the wow-factor is the "melt in your mouth" bit!!

Sometimes they are a little too sweet, but if you havent had them for a few weeks/months..... they are jus ....mmmmm hmmmmmm (drool)

Ooooh these are like the best doughnuts in the world!!! They are really light and the icing is just yummy (ok I am drooling like Homer Simpson now). Ok, they are expensive but worth it as a treat once in a very blue moon.

My fave is glazed raspberry filled or the powdered strawberry jam filled. They usually have a special doughnut each month.

I'll have to stop thinking about them or I'll be off to the airport near me to get some tomorrow!

BTW I've been told by the staff at my local that they freeze well so you can buy a dozen and keep some (if you don't eat them all at once)

Sparkle do you know what torture it is for me to have to drive past there everyday to and from work!

My reccommendation is to find one of the KK stores that cooks them , wait till the light is on (that's the advertising light) and go in and get one for free!

Tesco doughnuts aren't freshly baked!!! I heard they get them in frozen and just defrost them. Morrisons and Sainsburys fry them of every morning though not sure about asda we dont have a big enough one near me.
I didn't know you could get non fresh krispy kremes the one in MK has the belt and like everyones saying when the lights on you get one fresh of the belt as a complimentary one.

I can't wait to try one now. I might go for the mixed dozen and bring them home for the kids to try .. if I don't eat them all on the train home, lol.

We are staying in a hotel in Kensington and hoping to go to Harrods for a [STRIKE]carrier bag [/STRIKE]fresh doughnut now as well as a coffee.

Wonder of they go down well with Irn Bru WKD (I'm a classy chick:rotfl: :rotfl: )

I don't care if they are laden with sugar and fat .. a little of what you fancy does you good :j

I've never had a deep fried Mars Bar and don't intend to .. ugh!!
