A single (200-calorie) Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnut, for example, serves up 4 grams of trans fat and 3 grams of saturated fat. That’s a third of a day’s worth of bad fat.
Worse yet, each Krispy Kreme Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled Doughnut deposits 6 grams of trans plus 5 grams of sat fat into your artery walls and 350 calories into your storage tank. Not a pretty picture.
It's no wonder we are suffering an infertility epidemic
I wondered when we would have your wisdom on this subject. Cant you give it a rest? Can you not see that we are all talking about a TREAT-something extra special to put a smile on our faces once in a (long) while?“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.” Charles M Schulz0 -

Saw on American drama they always have donuts on the desk during business meetings!0 -
NONE up here in scotland, tried one in Hong Kong, and was hooked.
I NEED A KRISPY KREME!!!!!!0 -
The thing about Krispy Kreme is that you need to have them when they are fresh....just made! For me, and most people I know.... the wow-factor is the "melt in your mouth" bit!!
Sometimes they are a little too sweet, but if you havent had them for a few weeks/months..... they are jus ....mmmmm hmmmmmm (drool)'I love being married. It's so great to find the one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life' :heartpuls0 -
raeble wrote:I must admit I don't get it. You can get ten very nice jam donuts from the instore bakery for £1 in Sainsbury's & Tesco's etc, even M&S sells six for a £1. Why on earth would you pay £7 for twelve? Are they gold plated or something?
Ooooh these are like the best doughnuts in the world!!! They are really light and the icing is just yummy (ok I am drooling like Homer Simpson now). Ok, they are expensive but worth it as a treat once in a very blue moon.
My fave is glazed raspberry filled or the powdered strawberry jam filled. They usually have a special doughnut each month.
I'll have to stop thinking about them or I'll be off to the airport near me to get some tomorrow!MFW 2019#24 £9474.89/£11000 MFW 2018#24 £23025.41/£15000

BTW I've been told by the staff at my local that they freeze well so you can buy a dozen and keep some (if you don't eat them all at once)MFW 2019#24 £9474.89/£11000 MFW 2018#24 £23025.41/£15000

Sparkle do you know what torture it is for me to have to drive past there everyday to and from work!
My reccommendation is to find one of the KK stores that cooks them , wait till the light is on (that's the advertising light) and go in and get one for free!Weight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j0 -

I didn't know you could get non fresh krispy kremes the one in MK has the belt and like everyones saying when the lights on you get one fresh of the belt as a complimentary one.[FONT=georgia, bookman old style, palatino linotype, book antiqua, palatino, trebuchet ms, helvetica, garamond, sans-serif, arial, verdana, avante garde, century gothic, comic sans ms, times, times new roman, serif]A bank is a place that will lend you money if you can prove that you don't need it

Thanks for all the replies
I can't wait to try one now. I might go for the mixed dozen and bring them home for the kids to try .. if I don't eat them all on the train home, lol.
We are staying in a hotel in Kensington and hoping to go to Harrods for a [STRIKE]carrier bag [/STRIKE]fresh doughnut now as well as a coffee.
Wonder of they go down well with Irn Bru WKD (I'm a classy chick:rotfl: :rotfl: )
I don't care if they are laden with sugar and fat .. a little of what you fancy does you good :j0 -

I guess deep-fried Mars Bars just don't hit the spot anymore?
I've never had a deep fried Mars Bar and don't intend to .. ugh!!
We are not going to London just for the doughnuts, lol, we are going to see Noel Gallagher and if we want to seek out lardy yankee doughnuts then we shall :j :j0
