Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

I remember reading on here a while back how nice these doughnuts are but can be expensive. I searched the KK website and noticed all the stores are down south.
Anyway, meant to get some on my last visit to London (at Euston) but I was late for the train so didn't have time.
Me and sis are going to London in March and are determined to buy some of these doughnuts, some when we get there to try and then some to take home.
Anyone got an idea of the cost of these and which flavours to go for?
Thanks

My neice asked me to buy some last time I was in London.
I had to buy the standard topping as per the request but there were loads to choose from.
she had tld me the only place to get them was Harrods, so off I went, bought a dozen for £6-95 and fought through the rush hour underground back to Paddington.
There waiting to greet me was another Krispy Kream stall/shop at Paddington Station Doh!!!
Like I said, I got a dozen for £6-95. I should have noticed if they gave me a bakers dozen but we ate too many before I realized!!
I think they were about 65p each.0 -
Hi
They do them individually at around £1.30 or in dozens, the glazed at around £7.95 and the filled / special at £9.95. Sometimes you can get a dozen of each for around £12.95 and my family will finish them all in a day!!!

Hi, The prices should be roughly the same, and if its your first KK donut try the Original Glazed first Mmmm
In Birmingham :
1x Original Glazed = 90p
1x Assorted Donut = £1.10
They do dozens aswell :
Dozen Original = £6.95
Dozen Varierty = £7.95
Seriously i'm not an addict :rotfl:

I think I must be missing something with this product. Someone treated us at work the first day they starting selling them in Tesco over the road. They were edible, but nothing special and definitely not worth the price. I won't be trying them again.0

I must admit I don't get it. You can get ten very nice jam donuts from the instore bakery for £1 in Sainsbury's & Tesco's etc, even M&S sells six for a £1. Why on earth would you pay £7 for twelve? Are they gold plated or something?0

I've got something that'll stop you buying doughnuts!!!!
A man walks into a hamburger bar and orders a regular meal. The waitress brings his meal to him. He takes a bite out of it, and notices there's a small hair in the hamburger. He begins yelling frantically at the waitress, "Waitress, there's a hair in my hamburger! I demand to see what is going on!" So, the waitress takes him back where the cook is and, to his horror, he sees the cook take the meat patty and flatten it under his arm pit. He says, "That's disgusting!" The waitress replies, "You think that's disgusting? You should see him make doughnuts."....
I know i don't want a ring doughnut again!!!!:j Egypt 10th May - Here we come!!!:j0 -
In MK they are 95p for an original and 1.20 to 1.40 for a special one and then from 7.95 to 12.95 for a dozen!!! Definately try an original glazed ring first but you have to try the glazed one with the creme flavour filling. They are definately something special but they are a once in a while treat because of the cost and the calories some of their doughnuts have over 250 calories in!
I was thinking the other day why do they spell doughnut the English way and not the American (Donut)?[FONT=georgia, bookman old style, palatino linotype, book antiqua, palatino, trebuchet ms, helvetica, garamond, sans-serif, arial, verdana, avante garde, century gothic, comic sans ms, times, times new roman, serif]A bank is a place that will lend you money if you can prove that you don't need it

Can you please explain what it is that people find special about them. I am genuinely perplexed as to what their appeal is. To me, they are pleasant enough but nothing special and they don't warrant the price. The taste is nothing out of the ordinary and neither is the texture.0
