    Monday done :)

NSD & meals as per planner :) 3 surveys at lunchtime, 78p from rounding & found a £2 coin in my jacket pocket :T
All in all a good day !

Bit of a dull one - I really don't like Mondays !! Quiet day at work today so a good day to catch up :)

Going for a 2nd viewing on a lovely house later this week - all three of us loved it but I am not getting excited yet - if it's meant to be it will happen , if not then it won't :)

Still nothing from Sec Loan .... I don't know what to make of it tbh - another waiting game I suppose !

Hope everyone has a good week.

    Coco x

Coco, regarding the sec loan. It could just be that they don't like what you have to say to them and have simply, and rudely, decided to ignore you.

I'm not sure what you've been advised to do about the sec loan but It might be time to write again stating the same as before and adding that you expect a response. This time send the letter recorded.

It would probably be a good idea to see what the CAB have to say about it.

Thanks for your reply coco I know the feeling of waiting for the post and not answering the phone nightmare - they have reduced the plan down a bit for me - but I am a born worrier and worry that they will eventually say they cant help me anymore and I am on my own to deal with the creditors - Lets just hope that the MRS scheme will be able to help me if not and I lose my home then hopefully they will re-house my mum as she is disabled and my son can always go to his other nanas to live It wil be me that will be homeless - renting will be a nightmare as nobody really wants to help if you have a poor credit rating its a vicious circle - Thanks for the reply it has really cheered me up knowing that someone else will listen to my troubles and it is a great help Thank you so much xxx

    Hi coco

Jusst wanted to say that you are an amazing person and reading your journey is giving me room for thought saving on food shopping etc - Have been in touch with CAB who say that my mum is a priority re the MRS scheme so fingers crossed - just waiting to hear back from the housig association after she took all my financial details to weeks ago etc frightened of calling them incase it is bad news - but no news is good news is the saying - Just hope that they help us i am not so worried about myself but its my poor mother and son I worry about the most - Coco just wanted to ask re debt - you know when you said that mortgage is the first priority etc what happens then when the Debt management plan is reduced etc and creditors dont like it they have halved my debt management plan money down as they say mortgage comes first but I am still finding it a struggle - does anyone know what happens if for instance you cant pay the DMP much anymore? Daft question I know but just wondered if it has happened to anyone else and what the consequences are xxx Cant believe Coco how well you are getting on with things you are an inspiration -

have you tried posting some of this on the DMP mutual support thread as well there are loads of amazing people over there with loads of help and advice and most importantly lived experience who will doubtlessly be able to point you in all the right directions! Good luck you're doing so well :)

Thanks Masonn I will do that - can't hurt to resend it I guess.

Win you , your Mum & your son are a family unit & I am pretty certain you would be treated that way in terms of housing. You are so much like me . I worry about everything constantly and when I have a couple of days that are relatively worry free ..... I worry that I don't have anything to worry about :rotfl:

However , I try to break my worries down by what I can actually do about it that day - if there is nothing actively I can do - I try to push if from my mind for that day. Other thing I do with big worries is write down all scenarios that could happen & some pointers for what I could do to deal with it. Then , push it firmly from my mind for the day !! :)
One thing the council man told me is that repossession is an absolute last resort - so keep paying what you can.

MSE wise ,lunches & dinner as planned - tomorrow lunches in the fridge. Spent 60p on a packet of crisps but no spend otherwise :)

House we all loved has gone so it clearly wasnt meant to be .... Hey ho will just keep looking :)

Did 2 surveys & 78p from rounding account.

    Not a bad day :)

Well a strange but good day :)
Got lots done at work & have been quite productive really tonight!

Finally got a reply from sec loan .... It said " you have failed to keep to your contracted payment & we hereby advise that you rectify or we will take legal action " no mention or even acknowledgement of my letter ... Nothing !!!
So - I duly copied it and sent it back RMSD along with a copy of my letter and a note saying " you have failed to respond in anyway to my letter - if you don't do this within a reasonable I will be forced to take legal advice against that" ..., let's see if they have the courtesy to respond now shall we :T

0.99 p to rounding account which presents me with a further problem. My current acct is neat & tidy at the end of the day but now my saving acct has odd pence in it .... So I found myself moving that odd pence into another acct to keep saving acct tidy .... Oh dear , I can see the way that's heading :rotfl:

Meals as planned. I also went to c*op tonight as next door to my friends house. My normal cat food was £1.00 more than my local Mr T !!!! So I put it back on shelf, walked out ANC stopped in T on the way home ... I am not paying an extra £1.00 !! What a rip off :)

All in all - not a bad day at all :)

Well it's been a strange old week :)
£14.96 in rounding acct so that's good. All week meals have all been as planned Inc lunches - I am very pleased with that :j

Ex turned weds night to pick kids up. He moaned non stop for an hour about how rubbish his life is , how skint etc etc. So then kids feel guilty about staying. It's pathetic .... So I went upstairs & changed then said "you 3 do whatever - it's my night off & I am going out so either go or don't - it's not my problem tonight" and off out I went :) bar meal & bottle of wine with girls - got home at midnight ........ And they were gone :T

So a peaceful couple of days & they came back Friday night. Eldest call to say they were stopping for dinner @ p-hut - I asked them to bring me one (save cooking) and then "forgot" to pay ex for it :D

Football all day yesterday & a houseful of kids last night so I am wiped !!!! But - I am sending all three home to their respective parents before lunch as I get fed up with being the party house - good as they all are :)

Bit of a blitz this afternoon and then another week begins. I am eagerly waiting a response from sec loan hopefully this week or next. I will be paying them half (plus my rounding account total) when I get paid - but that's all. So will see what they say.

Hope everyone else had a good week.

Wow - I have just spent 20 mins in floods of tears ..... Good tears though, tears of sheer relief :) ..... My neighbour (who arrived back from holiday this morning ) just bought me a letter delivered in error to her.

To explain - about 2 months ago I discovered a medical "problem" ..... I ignored it convinced it would go away. It didn't. Then I ignored it because too much else going on , mortgage , court etc etc. In fact any excuse to ignore it because I was scared .....
About 6 weeks ago , following too much wine with my friend - it all came out. After another 2 weeks and lots of nagging :) I finally went to the docs. They referred me to hospital & so followed a couple of appts of horrible tests. I told nobody else as I didnt want to worry anyone & really I didn't want to think about it. My results were due a week or so ago. And I have spent last week convincing myself to chase them up on Monday - good or bad , I had to deal with it.

My results have just arrived ..... All clear :T

I cannot believe the relief I feel - I also hadn't realised how much stress I was under with the worry - because I wouldn't acknowledge it I just didn't realise the strain I suppose !

What an idiot I am :D

I could have saved myself weeks of worry - what a fool ! One good thing though - it makes you realise that life really is too short and if I ever needed motivation to sort this mess out - I just got it by the bucket load !!!!!!!

I am one very lucky girl :)
