:) Coco I just wanted to say good luck for the start of your new life, I have been reading your thread from day one and am so glad you and your ex are going to share the debt and finally move on. I really admire the way you have dealt with everything over the last few months and wish you every happiness in your new home

think this echoes what we all feel! you are an amazing lady (as we all are, sorry masonn you're an honorary female tonight :rotfl:) I know you can do this, to some extent you're through the worst as the decisions have been made and from now on you're just going with the flow, we've all got our stories and hopefully we can use these to help you through, so long as you have a roof over your head, food (of some description!) on the table and love in your heart you'll be fine:A

    kind thoughts and positive vibes

Hi Alison , thanks for your lovely post :)
I knew I would get there with the ex - he is a great guy deep down , it's time for us both to move on. As friends I hope :)

Mag, heartfelt thanks - I badly want to start crossing out the numbers like you do :D though as mine will stand at about 1.6 million - I think I will be in it for the long haul :rotfl:

For those who thought you had heard the end of my whining - you have yet to live through my packing / organising / moving dramas ... That's before I even start with the debt busting !!! I think I will be a lifer on here :D

Another day in the mad house !! Totally forgot lunch break again as was so busy !

I need to start running again - I am totally lacking in energy at the moment , by the time I get home I am totally wiped and have no energy at all ... Even when I go to bed and sleep , I wake up tired.

NSD today :) and have lunch ready for tomorrow for me and plenty in for dinner so shouldn't need anything tomorrow either. We have a football tournament all weekend so apart from the odd ice cream it should be a relatively cheap one :T

I wish my work would hurry up with payrises - they do backdate it to April anyway, but it would be nice to know how much I am getting. I need to know what my rent budget will be and an extra £50 could make a difference :)

Must do dishes & put some washing on but I would much rather do this ... Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I try to go running about 3 times a week. I find it helps me sort things out in my head, it's free (I just run round the village) and when it's done it's done and I can cope with everything else so much better. If I don't go I get crabby :p

Glad you are getting things sorted Coco.....your posts sound much more upbeat and your sense of humour (as always) is very infectious :)

Hey hey hey it's Friday :)
Finally the weekend !! This week seems to have gone on forever !

First Friday night in ages I haven't had a work crisis or a home crisis .... Yet ! Friday the 13th today - so far so good :D

Eldest cooked dinner & made pudding - I cleaned up the carnage :)
Football weekend is cancelled so no alarms tomorrow morning :T

Not a bad week after a shaky start - lots of paperwork , phone calls , forms etc etc. MRS application has formally been accepted by council , letter received today :) whether it gets accepted by mortgage etc is the next step , but if it's a no then so be it. Am going to start packing & clearing out next week so if I have to move , at least I will be ready :)

Did a few surveys at lunchtime - am nudging £10 or so now !! Need to list a few eBay bits this weekend.

For now - catch up on tv and relax. It's visit day tomorrow but that's ok :) we have paperwork etc to go through so it's fine.

Hope everyone had a good week.
