Hi Coco, I always look forward to catching up with your thread!

Well done on the ebay sales. I was a complete twonk and managed to get the postage wrong on one of my items this week, managed to make 78p! Lesson learned.

Love the description of ex, especially the "imaginative" part!

Hope you and the kids have a great weekend. My DH (has his faults but tries so hard!) is working an extra day today which means I'm on the forum and the kids are playing on the wii. Oops. Have done some chores though, honest!

  • Also went out for milk but didn't have a penny on me - normal process ? Withdraw £20 and I would have just spent the rest & that thought made me cross ! So back to car & checked all nooks & crannies to find coins so I wouldn't have to take money out ..... I am now £3.00 up  2 weeks ago I would have been £20 down !!!
Babysteps ! Thanks again all if you - will look at PS at wknd x[/QUOTE]

I can relate to that completely. I think just doing what you did today is a huge change in mindset.

You are on the right road. Good luck.

He he , trying to forget about the Ad above , still feeling bad about it :)
Spent all morning tidying up .... Shouldn't have bothered !!! Kids seem to make mess just by entering a room ! Drives me to distraction !!!
Just time to clear up before dinner & more mess ..... Arrggghhhh !
Definitely could get used to this 3 day weekend malarky :)

Hope all your evenings will be more exciting than mine , not that I am jealous of people with social lives or anything , lol :)

    Morning :)
I have been registered for One Poll & Valued Opinions for nearly 6 weeks - nothing ! Not a single survey yet .... Is this usual ?!

OnePoll you have to log into the website and check for surveys. They don't stay there for long so it's best to do them there and then - they only take about 5 mins each.

Valued Opinions should email you when there's one waiting. Best to fill out your profile in full so that they can send you more.

    HTH!

I use OnePoll, I have the page open in the background and just refresh it every 5/10 mins, I usually get quite a few surveys around lunchtime and just before.
They do fill up quite quickly though, so you have to jump on them when they appear.

    Hope that helps!

Tesco have just sent me my vouchers £27 !!! That will do the bits till the weekend.

Posted my last sale off today so they should release money Tues/weds .... 4 bits on but no watchers yet ......

A little good news - because I got myself so far in credit on gas/electric - I have just been able to reduce my DD by £30 a month !!! Well pleased with that. Whilst it was nice to build up the credit & effectively have 2 free months, I need the £30 a month more at the moment :)

    Hi LGSD :j
It's very nice of you to say so but I am not really sure how my endless droning on inspires anyone but thanks anyway :)

I swing between patting myself on the back and kicking myself for all the money we wasted in years gone by but , I can't change that now so onwards & upwards I guess !

Good luck with the survey thing - I figure if I check in every lunchtime and do any available it's a few extra pennies towards treats for boys. That is something that has hit me hard - nearly always saying no to them. Dont getbme wrong , nothing wrong with them learning true value of money but it's nice occasionally to be able to say " ok yes we can go to cinema / have a pizza" etc. So that's what I am aiming for :)

Having read many diaries on here - I realise that actually I am a lot better of than a lot of people ..... Tho that doesn't stop me whinging from time to time lol.
