Coco, I'm so glad you've got such a good sense of humour! Your ex is such an idiot!:rotfl::rotfl:
Sounds like we're having the same Sunday, the downstairs of our house was ok, the upstairs though, omg! Had to put some music on to tackle the pile of 'almost' clean clothes the kids had left on the landing.
Think you're doing the right thing not rushing into any decisions about the house. That shortfall is horrendous. I suppose you have to work out how long it would take for the potential savings to clear negative equity. Yikes. There must be a thread somewhere on here that will help!!
Enjoy what's left of the weekend.:DMake £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020

I didn't respond tbh , but my bill to him for this month should read :
1/2 Kids phone bills £15
Feeding him twice a week 4 weeks , plus endless coffee etc = £40
1/2 dinner money kids = £40
+ feeding them for the 10 weekends he promised to have them but didn't = at least £100 ?!
1/2 haircuts kids so £10 a monto
1/2 stationary / school supplies / school trip money/ presents for friends parties etc / dentist appts / school club fees / etc etc etc
I would never do it , but , you get my point .....
Still making me laugh tho :rotfl:
The thing he does something nice ... Then stamps all over it !
Never mind - toad in the hole was yummy .... Not many toads in it but the kids didn't seem to notice lol

Thanks barbeduk :j
Am off to tackle the clothes mountain myself in a minute !!!
Thing is , I would sit it out with house , take a 2nd job if I needed to.... Budget carefully & give kids what I can to make it a little more pleasant - if ex would just stop being an idiot & keep his promises to those kids , I get left to deal with their disappointment when he doesn't deliver on what he promises - cinema trips , staying for weekend , taking them to watch a football game , buy them new clothes etc - because if he did the treats , I could make the budget for "our house" stretch a little further if that makes sense ?
Right , upstairs here I come

If it stayed this sunny all year round I would be a very happy girl !!
Nothing on surveys again today ..., but I keep checking just in case
Spent £18 on bits in supermarket today ... But it had to be done! Ex money goes in tomorrow but am trying to ignore it till I get to my normal pay day - Friday ...., budget has to be super strict in June / but hopefully get my bonus end June :j
But I won't count my chickens yet !
Still have car to worry about though - not sure what to do about that one. There is a possible solution to it but it doesn't sit well with me ! Ex has new car arriving on 1st June (don't get me started !) his friend isn't buying his old one till beg July ..., which means his old car stands idol for 6 weeks or so. But the thought of asking makes me go coldBut , would give me a month to get money together for mine & I am still insured on his car ---- not sure what to do here ? I am sure he would let me use it for a month or so - any opinions ?!
Hoping for NSD tomorrow

Thursday already tomorrow :T kids with me again this weekend so may get in a game of tennis or two ! Been looking on web at houses go rent - could get similar house for about £400 less a month than this is costing me
Going out for a drink with friends on sat night ..... Maybe I will find myself a nice new man ??!!! Well , a girl can dream :rotfl:

Hi Coco,
Just wanted to finally say thank you now I've registered and let you know I'm yet another of the people you inspired to take charge and face up to things. Reading all your posts and seeing how strong you've been about all this and doing so much for your kids...you deserve to find a new man who will treat you right this time and be a support not a drain. Don't go looking with the beer goggles on though lol
Good luck with everything!!!

Oh and springboarduk.com is another good survey website - can't do the full link as a newbie - but I've been with them a while now and had two payments through paypal no problems. Plus they pay out cash at £25 so don't have to wait for as long as some of the others. Just need to check your email regularly as the 75p surveys close REALLY quickly as they fill up straightaway. Don't know if you've tried yougov but someone at work recommended them and they pay out at £50 or less if you take vouchers instead of cash...happy surveying :-)LBM May 2012
