  • Does anyone know how to contact one poll? I got the email saying congrats on reaching £40, 12/4/12 have tried to contact them but the msg for members wont work and there are no email addresses to contact anyone. Last time the money was in paypal no problem.

Try joining their facebook group and hastling them that way maybe?

You should be able to email them by clicking on the contact button on the website though.

Fallen off eBay wagon this week so need to get back to that this weekend .... MOT to pay for next month !!
Thank god it's Thursday tomorrow , nearly there - it's exhausting juggling money all the time - still , keeps my brain busy I guess :)

Am still toying with idea of some kind of evening / weekend job - if I can find the energy for it , ha ha !

All in all a pretty good week so far :D

    Hope everyone is well x

    Hi Coco,
Been reading for a while - think your doing amazingly!

Not sure if this will help, but just had my car mot'd and if you book online through Kwik Fit it's only £30. Only problem was this was the first time mine failed and the re test was £22.50, so a good idea if have any idea if it will pass - sorry that's probably not much help really!! :o

Ah thanks for the tip :)
Sadly , it won't pass , needs nee brakes definitely .... So it's a question of how many of these £££ its going to cost & how to pay for it ! I am getting pretty good at juggling money but I can't work miracles :rotfl:

Never mind - will think about it over weekend whilst piling my c*** onto eBay :)
Didn't have time to One Poll today - was very late to work so no lunchbreak for me today !

Well the weekends here again :)
Weather not too bad at all. Only been up three hours and am tired already !

Keep checking survey sites but nothing doing yet ......

Another unexpected bill means I am left with the grand total of £35 till next weds - going to take some doing ! I just wish ex would have kids every other weekend like he says , then I wouldn't have to worry about feeding them this weekend ...,, never mind , will manage somehow I normally do !

Last 3 items selling , didn't sell so I need to get back to that this weekend & find some more bits :)

The same thought is going round & round in my head constantly - I can't afford this house any more but I just don't know what to do for the best - am going to have to think seriously about that one .....

Apart from that it's all good ! Must do some housework , it's like a bomb has gone off around here :)
    Happy Saturday all !

    morning coco,
    have just caught up!
flipping cars-always semm to need something when you think you have budgetted well! have you seen the mot checklist on MSE?
its really good,i now check as much as i can (tyre tread/oil etc) and i even manage to change a fuse and light bulb-was sooo chuffed :)
i use the time the boy is with his dad for a "extra frugal weekend" too, usualyy lots of soup involved!
why don't you post up all the food in the house you have and hopefully peeps on here can give you some meal ideas?
i've done that a couple of times, sometimes i look in the fridge and cupboards and feel totally lacking in ideas.
its a hard one re the house.i can understand you don't want to move.
in my case,i did move, got a little tiny house for me and the boy,and its just ours.i always felt odd,the ex visiting the "family" home when we wee no longer a family.
am sure you will do whats right for you all, bless you.
    have a lovely weekend!

    Thanks Asparagus !
Yes cars are a BIG expense .... But I can't do without it sadly !

Going to get a friend to look it over & see roughly what needs doing before it goes in so at least I have an idea :)

As for the house - my major problem is , I dont want to stay here , I would love to move but sadly , negative equity to the tune of £20k ish ! So , I am crippling myself to live somewhere I don't want to live anymore .... This is why it's such a dilemma ! But , the guilty part of me feels I should do whatever it takes ..... Decisions , decisions ......

Basic shop done for weekend (am getting good at this :).

Ex chucked in £20 for kids to have a takeaway tonight so they are busy choosing which to order whilst they watch the football !
So , I am going to chill, watch the football and enjoy the rest of the weekend & worry about it all next week :)
