Hello and welcome back! Your diary was still in my bookmarks, what a lovely surprise to log in and see you’ve posted and I’m so pleased to read of your amazing progress 🥳.
My parasite has just left for his last year of uni after being home since lock down; he still costs me a fortune but the end is in sight now. When I stop paying his rent I hope to overpay my mortgage - 11months to go before all my money is mine!
Your menu looks good, I shall have to make curry now...😋

    Debt Free 🍾 since 6.8.13 £31,997
    Saving for 🎄 🎁 2025 £416/£850 49%
    6 mth 🆘 fund £6k
    Mortgage offset fund £24.7k/£40.3k 61.3%
It turns out the answer to my problems wasn’t at the bottom of this tub of ice-cream, 🍨 but the important thing is that I tried...

TCC how very lovely to hear from you 😊  Not too long until you can start throwing the money at the mortgage then!

I am excited for the next phase, but a bit nervous too!  I have always had a house full of kids so I'm not sure how I'm going to get on with the quiet tbh and I know i will miss them terribly but its a way off yet 😁

Its a glorious day here so I really must get up and get on with the day and get some washing on the line ☀️☀️☀️

Will list all of my debts here smallest to biggest, later on and start getting organised! My car is in for MOT in two weeks and I have a couple of pressing bills to take care of in the next few weeks, but, if I'm organised I can start chipping away, even if its a couple of pounds for now!

    Time for tea!

    So, the dreaded list
CCJ   £283.00        (Nobody needs to say it !!!!!! was I thinking!!!!)
    1)  £302.00
    2)  £2136.00
    3)  1767.00
    So thats my £4205.00

    In addition to this, I have 2 Overdrafts - 1) £49.00 and one for 2) 250.00
And thats it, no other Loans (other than my car Loan)Credit Cards, no Store Cards or HP>  I do have a couple of Utility Bills I need to catch up so the grand total for everything is £4893.00
Thats a lot, but nowhere near as big a lot as £30K was..... Happy Days!!!!  So thats a little over £200 per month for 2 years (not counting any additional payments I can make).  The 2 Loans will both be finished in 18 months.

Also need to change my sig again so it reads £5K to go  :D
Above post should say the Loan will be finished not the 2 loans
The aim here is to improve my credit score (not so that I can borrow anything though!).  Through this whole mess, its soul destroying to know that are in the very poor category, although does it really matter that much if I dont want to borrow anyway?
Having said that, once Mr Right comes along and we want to buy our dream home together, it will matter then (not that I am getting ahead of myself or anything ROTFL)

So in conclusion, there is a light burning bright at the end of the tunnel

Its frustrating that I have MOT and new tyres this month as I just want to crack on with it now!  But hey ho, October will roll around soon enough right?

For September, once all bills are paid (and £300 put back for car)
    Its £300 for Groceries
    £80 Fuel
    £60 Electric
£100 EF (as long as my car isnt above £300)
£100 Spends (currently should only need about £30 but we shall see)

I have 2 x weeks off in the next 5 weeks or so, I have worked all the way through this year with no break (apart from a couple of odd days) so to say that I am exhausted is putting it mildly!  I have been covering for 3 of my team on furlough so its savage but now I can start to take some time off    Any holiday I have left over they are happy for me to carry forward to next year.

Those of you that know me will remember that I DETEST the Winter, I really really hate it, I am a Summer Girl!  But, I figure I have plenty to keep me busy with the above and lots of decorating and bits I want to do, so this will be my project for the Autumn/Winter.  And by the time we get to spring, all of the little debt bits will be cleared and I will, hopefully, just have the 2 bigger ones to deal with.

Those of you that know me will also know, that life never pans out as expected in this house  :D  There is never a dull moment!
First challenge of the day is to hoover outside the youngests door!! Why? Because when he got back his friends at 4.30 am, he left the fridge open and the front door unlocked.... :s   Its a good job he`s cute or I would have booted him out a long time ago hahaha!!

One more thing and then I will stop waffling on  ;)
Yesterday evening I sat and had a couple of glasses of wine, and read through my whole diary.  I have to say, I did have quite a few tears (probably because of the wine haha!)  But it was the first time I have read it back.  It almost feels like I was reading about someone else, it was very strange, but I needed to do it for myself.
In conclusion, if I managed to get through all of that and still come on here to entertain everyone with my mental ramblings, this last push will be a piece of cake!

    Happy Tuesday
Sun in shining here today  :)
Had to get cat food so that stopped a NSD (although it comes out of the grocery budget so not sure!)
Nothing exciting happening, checked over bank and ticked off all DD`s had come out.  Have a houseful this weekend so will have to place accordingly so I dont go off budget!
Must sort out the under sink cupboard tonight as its a bit of a mess and I think I have LOADS of cleaning products stashed away under there!
Found 45p in my car this morning....... yay!!!!

    Have a good day
