    Morning all
well last night SOMETHING woke me up but not enough to investigate - wish I had - there is a temporary traffic light with stand in my front garden - I have no idea what to do with it - any ideas? shall I call the police?
2yoDgs has just had a bath with 10yo dd and is running around in the nicky-nacky-nude refusing to get dressed. DD has gone to pack a bag - she is spending the afternoon and night with a schoolfriend and then they will drop her off at my dds in the morning. On the way to w**k tomorrow i will drop off another overnight bag as a different friend is picking her up from dds in the afternoon for another sleepover. On the way back from w**k I will pick up the first bag and pack it for the hospital on wednesday - what its like to be popular huh!

    have a good day

  • Good Morning

I'm cross with myself that I didn't wake till 8.47 so I feel as though I've lost 2 hours but I suppose I must have needed the sleep.

A lovely sunny morning, must take the dogs for a long walk then do some more in the garden. Luckily DS2 has homework so that will keep him quiet, though I doo feel a bit sorry for him as it takes hiom so long.

Found 1/2 a pork pie and a piece of ham from Christmas so that is my 'empty freezer challenge ' for today sorted. Still 7/8 full - not making much impact yet.

Making parsnip soup today as I have a glut dug up. They needed colder weather to keep them, so freezer will be full again.

Hope everyone has a peaceful day
Doing voluntary work overseas for as long as it takes .......

Morning, feeling a bit hung over, but not had anything to drink, it must be the tablets, I am sleeping better thank the lord.....

Bright sunny morning, we are off in a mo to raid morrisons for flour and yeast, thanks to those who posted on the board yesterday. I am going to have to relearn keeping a fair stock of stuff in the pantry if/when we move to Scotland, we will be quite a way from Mr T's although the is one in the nearest town to us and a larger one in Haddington. This time next week we will be on our way........ to view.

Nothing really planned for today except cooking the supperand reworking our budget, we will be paying a little more but not the whopping £125 our present landlord wants.... I heard a whisper that he intend to gut the place after we have gone and let for almost double what we pay, greedy begger.

    Right I am away.....................
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

Morning all, hope everyone is well :) I was going to post when I woke at 5am but my eyes weren't awake properly :o

Suns out here too, lovely in fact, washing out on the line, doing a towel wash now so I can get that out too. Made the boys open their curtains and blinds, you would think they were Mogwi's with their objection to the briht light!

Going to have a stroll down the village store in a mo with the boys as I need some broth mix, start the broth off then take the kids with the dogs to the woods & the park for a few hours. It's DPs birthday but he's chosen to spend it in Yorkshire with RC club so stuff him :D
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

Words of wisdom indeed Math - particularly about the PJs:rotfl: Good luck today hun and remember that although you have been thinking about this for a while your mum is still in shock having only heard the news this week - can I suggest you make the tea and slip a small brandy in there:D
Even more important will be telling the boys tomorrow and Im glad you and Mr TM are being so reasonable with each other its bound to soften the blow a little bit   big hugs hun and you know where I am.

hugs to every one else having a rotten day

gorgeous blue sky here today gazing out of my office window it looks like it could be 80 degrees outside so I may pop my bikini on and get the sunbed out ( or maybe not - that would scare the neighbours far too much:eek: )

Got to finish my ironing and packing off - yesterdays attempt ended up with a wardrobe declutter instead whilst singing my heart out to Hello Dolly:rotfl:
I now have much clearer cupboards after having an honesty session on whether that lovely size 8 top will ever fit over my ample body ever again (lol it wont even go over my ample hair:rotfl:)

Then its off down the M6 and the rest for a few hours ready for my work tomorrow    and thats another weekend shot by

Have a lovely day all and hope you all manage to get 10 mins sitting in this tropical sun:D

Overcast here again, quite cool too. Put a load of washing out - it didn't dry yesterday and I don't think it will dry today.

    Roast in the oven.

    Good morning all

casrina before I moved here, I lived in a rented terrace house for about 18months as a stop gap, when we moved from Birmingham, and when we moved out, they did no extra work to the house, and put the rent up by £20! It wasn't worth what we was paying at the time, so how can they justify the increase! Like you say - greedy beggars! And someone out there will be daft enough to pay aswell.

Welcome back Vicky - sorry to hear of the nasty shock you had when you got home. I also agree that you're dealing with it really well! And you did right to turn that unexpected viewer away, after all, they could have been anyone!

stefjb Have you called the police ref the traffic light, I would! As a drunk put it there? Or road maintenance?

(((hugs))) to pen-pin hope you & your sister are feeling better soon

I had a sleepless night as usual, kept waking up every hr, finally got up at 7, showered, did some card making, and was out of the house at 8,20am, I went to our local car boot. Brought a brand new carebear (still in the box) for DD as she collects them, £1.50. Not sure if she has this one or not, doesn't matter if she has, as she's going to a friends birthday party next week, so that will come in handy for the gift!

Came home, put the pork in the oven for sunday dinner, and prepped all veg. Having roast spuds & parsnips also, with yorki puds, & plenty of fresh veg

Then went to tesco's to finish of the shopping.

Meat nearly cooked, so will get ready and have a walk with OH & the dog. Housework can wait. We need a change of scenerey and quality time.

OH posted a letter via recorded delivery on Saturday to his ex, asking for her to allow him access to his DS, preferably arrange something out of court. Doubt this will happen as now Ive seen with my own eyes, how un-reasonable she actually is, (AND PHYSCO) but its a start, in the meantime, he will seek advise from a solicitor. After being guided from DLB, we feel a lot more at ease now than we was on Friday. Its not going to be an easy ride, or cheap to the point, but we hope it will be worth it.

Anyway, best go and check the meat
    Catch you later
    Enjoy rest of your day
Kids are back at school tomorrow - yipeee!!!
    Love as usual
