new speadsheet for 2014 Birthday, Christmas and another for money planningxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Never mind another month biting the dust, its another year.
Its def been an up and down year, some positives, some negatives, but overall I got through it, tears, tantrums the lot we've had it.
Positive estimated that I would push for 4k off debts, - dmp and personal ones which have achieved overpayment of £158.
Started birthday and Christmas presents for 2014, hoping to get sorted as cheap as possible.
Hoping New Year, a new start, lots of personal challenges, and my DD goes to secondary school next year, where has the time gone.
next post be aims for 2014..... xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
A new year a new start.
My aims for 2014
-Tackle weight - aim to loose 1 stone by April, by nice if can loose 3 stone by end of year.
-Tackle money - these is a carry on, - my plan is to aim for 4k repayments - that includes my DMP and personal bills.
-Get 2 small debts paid off (may just need to put £30 each to them) so Dec 2014 by their last payment. That should take a month or two off my debt free date.
-Sell items not needed - just discovered facebook sellers and cleared a few items out of the house, items that I wouldn't have expected to gone. Car boot and eBay items.
-Look at triggers to what make me spend - do I need it, want it, or just put it in the basket - start paying cash at £1shops, - there my downfall.
-Aim to manage my diabetics better - currently tablet controlled, but need to get the level more manageable...
-Do more cooking with DD - need to do savoury as well as sweet
-Look at meal planning - aim to make sure always got 12 portions of home cooked casseroles in freezer.
-Keep spreadsheet updated - Birthday and christmas presents, Add in mothers day, fathers day, and family birthdays
-Presents - aim to have 5 spare gifts incase DD gets invited to parties, buy sale offers, and don't feel quilty if budget £20 but I get an item £20 - been reduced to £10 - DO NOT NEED TO SPEND THE OTHER £10
-50P Save 50p - going towards DD holidays, save change - going for DD - aim lump sum when she is 18
Want to have 2 accounts with £150 each saved for emergency payments
-Use vouchers, promotions, offers, - aim to get National Trust membership again for summer - once weve been 3 times were in profit.
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Good news today, DD had her 1st appointment at allergy clinic, shes not allergic to nuts, shellfish, or latex - keep an eye on her - then go back 6/8 weeks where there give her a blood test.
Family day out tomorrow, - trip before DD goes back to school, xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
A family day out to our fav icecream farm - which nearly turned into a turn around, as DD was sick again (got her docs appointment for 2mor, just to be on safe side), but she wanted to have the day out.
Quite frugal, as we split the costs, I got cakes and coffee (got 20% off the boss likes us), and mum got dinner (I ordered - again 20% off), we went half on icecreams.
Used the last of Decembers money that had in purse, but did spend £11 on debit card - birthday cards, couple of bday gifts, ham - salad 2mor, and ham, mash and parsley sauce for tea on Monday, plan is a no spend week, DD back at school on Monday, where as the time gone xxxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
A bit of mixed bunch at the Docs with DD, shes come down with a virus, (but what they don't know) they thinks she burst some blood vessels in her stomach and throat from being sick, and they did a urine test and theres blood in there. Shes dehydrated - trying to get her to drink, I am literally pulling my hair out, she doesn't like tea or drinking choc, she will about half a cup of coffee, but doesn't want her own cup she likes to share.
She liked filter coffee - but its trying to get it down was her.
I was hoping as we brought mum a Tassimo for Xmas that DD would go and get a drink, but she has trouble lining the discs up.
She has to go back on Wed again.
She is back at school tomorrow, so I've sent her in with a bottle of water, and a note for the teacher explaining that she needs more fluid hense the water, the school been great so don't see a prob. Even if she drinks it at break time, - be more fluid into her.
Plan Mon onwards
Argos delievery - due Monday
Need to get presents brought allocated
Sort cards - plan is to get a folder and slot cards in ready for people so i don't need to rush and get any "expensive cards"
Still got Christmas items to put away.
Sort out (translates to find... DD passport) shes having her own bank account - opening that Sat - gets a debit card - easier as I can put her pocket money via transfer (narrowed down into suitcase (panic over)
Set Jan's budget (done all incomings
Parents wedding anniversary sunday - 51 yrs - DD making a trifle
Clean fridge (darling dad....)
Start crocheting baby blanket - need it for end of month
