:smileyheaMarried the man of her dreams and became Mrs M on 26th April 2013 :smileyhea0 -
Just back from his parents! His dad has now said 11 o clock so everyone is happy now and h2b seems much happier he has been really down last couple of days about if all and I think his dad could see that hence changing the time they are going to leave!
The only reason they told us the time they were going to leave is because I am booking their taxi's as I work for a cab company! So I just need alter the booking now:jEngaged 25/12/11 :j

I had my hen do yesterday and it was absolutely perfect
It couldn't have gone any better and I feel so lucky! Even though there were only 11 of us it felt like a good number and I felt really pleased that these people were there to celebrate with me because they cared about me
It was wonderful
Feeling a bit rough today...not exactly hungover (no headache, no dodgy tummy or anything) but just exhausted and achey, have a sore throat too - hope it's just the weekend's excesses and not that I'm coming down with something. We are off to meet with the photographer soon and hopefully that won't take too long - I'd really rather be curled up under a blanket!
OH was absolutely wonderful yesterday, too. He made me breakfast in bed, curled my hair for me while I did my make-up as I was running late(!), was our taxi and was just generally amazingNot that I needed reminding but it does help confirm why I am marrying him!
I have five and a half days left of work (over the next 2 weeks). It can't end quickly enough - I am really rubbish at my job at the moment and I am aware of it. Work just feels like an inconvenience and I know that is NOT a good thing! I will be much better again when the wedding is over!
Hope everyone else is doing okI will come on again later/tomorrow and read your posts properly - off out to see the photographer now!

Wow not long at all! Wishing you all the best CatsI have five and a half days left of work (over the next 2 weeks). Haha this is definitely me at the moment too, 10 days left after today for me. I think I'm really looking forward to having a break, as well as marrying my OH of course :rotfl:
Still got quite a bit left to do but most things are coming together. It's my neice's birthday tomorrow so have been busy with a few things for that, hope I don't get too behind with wedding stuff!
We've got 17 RSVPs outstanding, but a few are my aunt and cousins which will hopefully be resolved on Friday as Dad is coming to see Mum ( ) The final meeting with the venue is the Tuesday before we go so there are a few days left to chase the others. We've made our meal choices and I've been keeping a note of other stuff we have to ask/tell them.
We had a phonecall and then a letter from the venue saying that the chair cover supplier we were using is no longer endorsed by them and that their other supplier will be getting in touch! Apparently the original one had been charging deposits to all brides when she shouldn't have been and there were other complaints about her attitude etc. I paid a deposit to them which the venue say they will get back from her and will go towards my balance with the new supplier. Then this weekend I got a letter from the old supplier saying that she never had a contract with the venue and I can go ahed and cancel if I wish but the deposit is non-refundable etc etc.
Any thoughts? At the moment I'm just leaving them to it, have got far too much else going on to worry about it!
Brooch bouquet is finished, am so pleased with it, I must post a pic so you can see! Have made a start on the table plan but need those outstanding RSVPs to finish it. Decided to name the tables after Vegas casinos and have designed them in Publisher (at work - shhhh) just need to get some nice paper to print them on. Might do some menus as well, has anyone else done them? Not sure if I should do a few per table, or one each.
Realised we're having about 15 kids coming (don't tell my mum! She thinks we shouldn't have any :rotfl:) so need to sort out some party bags/entertainments for them. Have stitched ribbon sashes on the two plain flower girl dresses, need to make a head band for the baby and then that's the minimum done! I'd like to make some mini felt bouquets for the older girls to carry, time permitting!
Went to a decorations place last weekend and picked out vases for the centrepieces and the flowers to go in them. Need to make up the flowers into small bouquets and get some pearls or lace to fill the bottom. Oooo if there are some spare I could use those for the flowergirls - must remember to check! Also need to fit in a trip to Ikea to get some more candle holders to go around the vases. Have everything ready for the place cards/escort cards just need to make them!!!!
Hen-do this weekend, very excited! It's a complete surprise, all I know is the place and time :T I think it started sinking in that I'm getting married when I was telling work collegues about my hen-do eeek!Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger No. 26 :hello:XStitch to do list:-- Birth Sampler -- Christmas Angel -- Mum's Xmas Stitch -- Christmas decs 3 & 4 -- Xmas Bird ---- Snowflake Sonata -- Be Jolly -- JE Unicorn -- Start HAED!!! --0 -
Only 16 days left! Eek...........
Had my final dress fitting last week and my hen night was on Saturday. To be honest I had so much on my mind I wasn't really bothered about it. But my Mum and sister had organised it and it was a great night!
I think most things are sorted and paid for now. That is apart from the venue but we can't confirm with them until we have a reply from all the day guests.
It's so exciting for everyone, our wait is nearly over!Marrying my best friend on 5th April 2013

Is anyone else just completely ready for it to just be here now?
I am getting sick of the wait! I must be coming across as really grumpy because when people ask me about it I just don't want to talk about it anymore...it feels it has been soooooo long in the planning and now these last couple of weeks are dragging - I thought it would be the opposite!
Most things are done now - our to do list is getting smaller by the day
Gem123 - glad you had a good hen doMine was great too
skoobs - hope your hen do goes well too! I have to be honest, in terms of the chair covers unless I wasn't losing an insane amount of money I'd be just saying 'Yeah whatever' at this stage I think! Would love to see a pic of your brooch bouquet too! I keep meaning to take a load of pictures of weddingy stuff and put them on here but I keep not getting round to it.
Is anyone else REALLY stressing about the weather? It looks like it is going to be rubbishI know it is absolutely pointless to worry about it as there is NOTHING I can do to change it. I don't care if it is cold or grey or cloudy as long as it is dry...but I don't think that is looking very likely
boo! Nevermind!
Just to keep myself on track...
