I'm down in the dumps too, I still haven't been able to pay for my wedding dress

The money has now left my bank account but isn't showing in my PayPal so I can't pay them!! Argh hope they sort it out soon, might ring them again on Monday if it hasn't appeared by then.

Oh no Daisy did you make it to the tasting last week? I have so much still to do but no motivation to do any of it, I was much more into planning the wedding before we were engaged than I am now! Now I just want to be married and get started on trying to make babies! I feel like I'm wishing my life away sometimes.

Honeymoon is booked now though, and we've almost found a band. Still no bridesmaid dresses or flowers though...!

No we didn't OH had to work late so I think we will be going to one in January.

I totally agree about the babies! I went into Toys r Us with my mum today to find a present for my nephew and we were both going gaga over the baby things.

Daisiegg , what's made you feel this way all of a sudden? Is it family or just general wedding stress? I remember feeling like that and it was horrid. I really hope you manage to feel a bit better about things soon xx

Skoobie - Argh!! Why are they taking so long? I know when Paypal held up a transaction of mine it took ages on the phone to India to sort out. I know there were problems with paypal last week because I sent the lady the money for the dress and it didn't show until the next day!

Well, I've done 3 things I swore I wouldn't do.....

1. I have succumbed to chair covers and sashes, I always said I wouldn't!!
2. I have also decided to take on a wedding planner, am very about this one. Fortunately, in the scheme of things it's costing a tiny amount because I am combining it with 1! I just realised this morning that I am trying to do too much and because I am so OCD I want someone to make 100% sure that it's how I want it and that everything gets laid out how I planned!
3. I am paying someone to make my favours - again, partly to do with point 2. I really wanted fudge and was planning to go and buy it from a shop near the wedding ceremony the weekend before the wedding and then wrap it and bag it all myself but you know what, it's just easier to pay someone else to do it! The silly thing is that I thought it would cost me about £1pp plus my time, I am paying £1.20 a person and she will do it all, I just collect it - perfect!

Overall I am feeling ok, I have my final exam in 2 weeks and really want to get that done so I can focus on Christmas and then the wedding and weight loss. Went back to Zumba friday after sustaining a foot injury and should be going tomorrow and tuesday. I must fit in my new dress!!!

Jtr, I am not really stressed about the wedding organisation if that's what you mean. It's all under control and everything is sorted basically.

I don't know, there are a few things worrying me about the guest list (will enough people come?! Why don't OH and I have more friends?! Will people think it's strange that we don't have many friends? ) I am feeling a bit down because my diet is going rubbish and I know I will be a fat bride, despite always swearing I would make sure that didn't happen.

I think it's just the November blues. My mum and I got the invitations finished for posting today, I still have some more to finish that will be given out by hand, but the ones being posted to people who need to travel need to go out more quickly. Even that is not exciting, it is just a chore, I am not at all crafty and don't enjoy it. I feel like the bloom is taken off as well as I already had to make the website go live and send the address to lots of my family as they were moaning, so it feels like the invitations don't really even matter now.

Oh I am being stupid and sorry for having a huge moan!

I promise I will stop being such a selfish !!!!! and will come on here tomorrow and respond to all of your ladies' news.

Could have written those bits myself hun! One of the reasons our wedding is so small is because I have no friends! My guest lists comprises my Mum, my daughter, my brother and his girlfriend and two of my work mates (one is my best friend) and that's it! The rest are OHs family and a few friends. I have desperately tried to make friends/maintain friendships but I seem to just repel them, I am starting to take it personally.

I am the same on the weight too, especially now I have bought another dress. I need to lose a stone for it to look right but this time of year is horrid for losing weight, especially when you have zero willpower....

Oh Daisie, I'm sure people won't think it's strange, they'll just be glad to see you and your OH get married and share your day with you!

If any did think that then stuff them, they aren't worth having as friends anyway.

I feel you on the diet front, I really need to get back on it! ! I'm just thinking if I can manage 1lb a week that would be a stone and a half lost by April. We can do it!!

I'm STILL waiting for PayPal to release my money for the dress. I'm not sure if it'll come back to me, or get repaid to the seller. I just wish they would hurry up. :mad::mad::mad: Think I'll wait a couple of days before ringing again, don't want to annoy them :rotfl: Maybe I'll ring my bank instead and see if they know anything about it... Stupid PayPal, definitely giving me the November blues!

Oh my god I am so with all of you!!!

We don't have tons of friends either, especially my OH as he's moved around alot and isn't in a great line of work for meeting people.

My invites are getting there though yey, so glad I decided to make them it's so rewarding and personal, but hard work don't get me wrong.

I am missing wedding mojo massively though, partly because of cost as we've had a few unexpected things come up which means we're very behind on our saving
