Unless I'm misreading your post, I think you're getting mixed up.

The kind of glitch you're referring to works on multibuy offers, not on items that are reduced in price. The total price in the scenario you describe won't be over £8.00, so you won't be able to use 2 coupons. You'd be better off buying 2 packs plus 1 pack of cheap cheese and then you could use 1 coupon to bring the cost down to just over £3.00.

My tip for the best way to take advantage of the £1.00 off a £4.00 spend coupon is this:

The 120g packs of Mini Babybell Cheddars are £1.78 and BOGOF from tomorrow.

So buy 2 of these and a 125g ball of Value Mozzarella for a total spend of exactly £4.00.

The BOGOF deduction and use of the £1.00 coupon would mean you end up paying £1.22.

Thanks, I am getting mixed up and got excited too quickly!! :o

It won't work on half-price cheese, needs to be BOGOF.

I've just noticed on Tesco.com that 200 - 250g packs of Tesco Finest Mimolette are 31p.

I've never tried this but at £1.25 per kilo it's obviously very cheap.

The 250G packs of Tesco Grated Mozzarella are £2.00 each and on a 2 for £3.00 multibuy offer, so with the £1.00 voucher you could get 500g for £2.00.

Or the 350g packs of Mu Mature Cheddar are £3.50 each and on a 2 for £4.00 offer, so you could get 2 packs along with a 200g pack of Creamfields Emmental Slices for £1.00 to take the total spend to £8.00. Then you should be able to use 2 of the £1.00 off vouchers to mean you'd end up paying £3.00 for 700g of cheese.

This isn't helpful now but my best find on cheese was asda selling the 500g packs of mature cheddar two weeks ago at 50p a block, it was a few days from sell buy but I bought good stock and froze just nice to get such a good find!

People on HotUKDeals are reporting Wyke Farm Cheddar 300g being sold for £1 (£3.33/kg) at ASDA.

    There's also a buy 1 get 2 free on Wyke Farm Cheddar 320g for £3.99 (£4.16/kg) at Co-op.
  • Barbers Premier Moo cheddar at Sainsburys deli counter, got just over a kilo for £6. It's lovely stuff.
