Asda Smartprice cheddar ...says mature ...£1.64 KG
This is a long standing error. This thread is a few months old and you'll see that nobody actually got the cheese at the advertised price.

Cathedral City is BOGOF at Tesco @ £3.98.
Put 2 through and buy say a mozzerella (or similar) for 49p Total £4.47 and use 2 x £1 coupons from Tesco leaflet and pay just £2.47.
It shows over £8 (£8.45) before multi-buy, so 2 x £1 coupons can be used and it works.

Thought I'd give a heads up on this as also spotted this just now on HotUKDeals.
Sorry Ed, sorry Lynsey, don't know what I was thinking of last time, obviously misread Lynsey's post somehow. Appears I must have been suffering from lethargy when I spotted this. Yeah, that's it, I must have been tired.
Here's the link to the voucher:

IF you have one nearby then you will have a great choice just like the supermarket but more for your money.
Choice of grated, slices, or just a huge block of the normal cheese, and of the others I think it's slices and blocks - but still bigger portions the the supermarkets.
they also have some really good discount on the cheddar at the moment but remember to buy the item with the low price as the % discount works out better0 -

Coupons end date: 11th March.
Loads of leaflets in store.
Cheese BOGOF is on until 20th March.
As long as your cheese value is greater than £8 it seems to work, worked for myself anyway.

I get my cheese from Morrisons. They have a red labelled brand ( name escapes me at present) that is a mild cheddar. Very nice, toasts well as and freezes perfect. Runs about £3.85 p/kilo. Cheapest cheese I have found. I do also like the 'greek style' cheese from asda and use it in place of Feta (I don't like the zoo taste most feta's have) and it is nice at just 50p per block ' smart price'. To be honest I get cheese when it is on sale.0

As cheese is low carb, I always put the cheese offers I find on the Low carb supermarket bargains thread. There are quite a few cheese offers at one Stop at the moment and at Morrisons too.0
