Really cant afford to lose the pay but needs must when Gove drives.
Wrong diary? :undecided
I am nackered! Mrs E was off sick today (which is unheard of). Cue me rocking up to Asda at half past seven this morning for cold and flu medicines in my tracksuit, followed by driving to the hospital for some tests, driving to work, work, a trip to the bank, driving home, housework once I returned, followed by trying to fix the kitchen tap (our water pressure has gone the way of... crap water pressure :rotfl: ).
I also managed to find the time to set the coffee maker for the morning, get the bread maker set up for the morning (my first try, excited!) and ordering a takeaway
Now for some light Christmas shopping :snow_laug- £1 into the remortgage pot today
- £25 of kitchen money now earning interest in electronic land
- Packed lunch and coffee ready for tomorrow

Is there a specific reason that work is so boring the week after a holiday?
Small victories for the day:- Took a thermos of coffee to work
- Took a packed lunch
- £1.50 to remortgage pot
- £1.50 to kitchen pot
- Broadband bill slightly cheaper than usual
- Budget is positive again (has been very slightly in the red for about 6 weeks)
- Meter readings submitted
- Didn't eat takeaway for dinner :rotfl:

Thanks Calfuray, we had an anxious moment trying to track down one of them this evening. Unfortunately a lot of plants have died off, will need to find some cheap/free trimmings to get up and running again. Maybe there's a MFW fish thread?
You know how I took the kitchen tap apart the other day? Well, somehow I managed to miss the fact that Scottish Water had dug up half the street :rotfl:
Very dull day at work, although I actually submitted an application for a new job! Pays considerably less, but it's very MSE (debt advisor role) and would suit me down to the ground I think- £1.50 to remortgage pot
- £1.70 to kitchen pot
- packed lunch ready for tomorrow
- breadmaker ready to start making a large wholemeal loaf at 02:30
- Mrs E is on the mend

Thanks GG
OMW the bread maker was noisy last night! I had to get up at quarter to three to slam the kitchen door shut. This will sound really petty, but I hope it disturbed the neighbours who play the same Adele album over and over again at full volume and refused to answer the door when Mrs E was trying to get them to pipe down while niece was napping
Just about to go into *3 hours* of deaf awareness and diversity training. I'm feeling Daily M@il rage coming over me...- £1 into Freedom Fund
- £1.50 into Remortgage Pot
- £1.50 into Kitchen Pot
- 7 hours 'til the weekend!

Hahaha - it was rubbish! In fairness to the guy, he was cheerful and affable, but the topic was absolute PC-by-numbers nonsense. I think living in Glasgow would give you an automatic pass on the diversity front - we're the London of the North :rotfl:
Weekend now, fish tank back to normal, a few  had and bread maker ready for the morning. I haven't developed a fetish, dinner was the rather unimaginative salad, lump of cheese, pate and nice bread. The loaves don't last very long, may need to experiment with larger quantities.0 -
