Feeling a wee bit blue, as one of my fish injured itself while we were away, developed a fungal infection and died. I treated the tank in case any of the others were afflicted, but the medication has done nasty things to the water chemistry and there's a lot of unusual behaviour going on. It's feeling a bit touch and go, hope I don't lose any others.

Aw :( I remember I took my fish to the vet when I was 11 as it had a fungal infection. Hope they all get on okay!

The rest of the fish were ok in the end and even the very poorly looking one perked up :) I am getting a smaller tank so that I can medicate just the one fish in future (it seems a bit daft 'treating' them all if one is sick).

Our overnight babysitting went very well - no tantrums, niece eating well and being polite and we managed to get her off to bed with minimal effort. Not bad for a 2 year old.

Not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow, but it was a good break and there will be others.

£1 to the remortgage pot today, plan on taking some money to the bank to pay into the kitchen pot tomorrow :)

NSD (the first one in what feels like months), packed lunches and clean togs all ready for work tomorrow.

  • I have 3 extra tonight, told my girls they could have a friend each, so have 6 children. Its actually going well (they know if they behave it will happen again soon, if not....)
It will actually be nice tomoz though as I find they won't bicker, they either play as a group (youngest 2 +friends) or are spread round the house. (schools closed tomoz - strike)
