The last diary I kept on MSE was over in Debt Free Wannabe.
Hi Edinburgher - would you be happy to link your DFW diary in? I've read through your MFW now and I think that that's only half the story (as it were)
NP if you'd rather not.

Mrs E managed to find £1 for the kitchen pot - I'm skint until we get paid at the start of next week

What a week! Crazy meetings at work, my annual review and the fidgety excitement that comes from having a holiday the following week

Today Mrs E and I are chilling out. I re-hung our pulley after the rope frayed and snapped (I think I might have hung it wrong when I replaced it a while back?) I also paid in a £30 cheque that my lovely parents sent us for our wedding anniversary, got some essentials for when we get back next weekend and picked up some live food for my fish
£3.10 into the kitchen pot
54p into the remortgage pot
Plans for the rest of the day? Maybe play computer games and other grown up pursuits.0 -

The holiday was lovely, but spendy (and I couldn't care less). Mrs E and I are now up to our eyeballs in smoked salmon and good whisky :j
We got back yesterday afternoon and managed to put c. 500 miles on the car clock since we left. Feeling lovely and relaxed and our driving skills got a real test. Driving round Loch Lomond is less than pleasant
Feeling a wee bit blue, as one of my fish injured itself while we were away, developed a fungal infection and died. I treated the tank in case any of the others were afflicted, but the medication has done nasty things to the water chemistry and there's a lot of unusual behaviour going on. It's feeling a bit touch and go, hope I don't lose any others.- 51p to kitchen fund
- Mrs E and I are now stoozing on a second Mr T credit card (£4300 to go before our new kitchen
) - No housework to do, did it all before we left
- Went to L1dl and Asd@ earlier, Mrs E is making a tasty spag bol for dinner
- Babysitting niece E tomorrow
- Contemplating said whisky...
