My lunch savings have continued all week - oh yes :rotfl: I have found that by popping out for lunch a bit later in the day I can get Mr T's finest reduced sandwiches. So that this trend becomes something more than just a crazy MFW crackpottery (that's a word!) I will be paying in the money saved into Zopa. I've paid in a tenner for the last fortnight, long may it continue.
While continued good behaviour with diet and exercise has led to my jeans slipping considerably, none of my work colleagues complaining. That's either because they're not shocked, or because there's nothing to see
Looking forward to a real dinner tonight, lots of tasty things.
The long weekend should be a great opportunity to wind down, we have a few small activities planned.
Also, I am currently in the process of signing up for some volunteer tutoring to see if that's something that I can turn my hand to. I had given serious thought to teaching last year, but then work looked like it might improve a bit and I didn't follow it up. As work has done anything *but* improve in the interim, I'm probably long overdue a change.
Somewhat scary, but nothing good seems to come easily.0 -

I am not sure if I detect sarcasm there madam?0 -
None at all. I am just someone who often comes across as sarcastic without meaning to.
It really is the best job.0 -

Got our quarterly email from Scottish Power this morning requesting update meter readings. As we owed them £600 in February, I am not particularly looking forward to seeing the new total
I have paid another £40 into Zopa, my average rate continues to be ok, but they have definitely dipped since the glory days when I was getting 9% and so on.
Not much MFW stuff over the weekend, but we did keep our costs down and Mrs E and I had a very grown up conversation about how we would cope if I went back into training/education for a year.
On with the short week.0 -
I can't believe how miserable and rainy it is after the glorious sunshine of yesterday (aka the Scottish summer 2013). I am feeling like a right gloomy sod
We are currently in the midst of performance reporting at work and I feel more stressed and swamped than ever. I cannot remember the last time I got to say 'no' to a task and managers continue to say 'yes' to more and more on my behalf.
A cheap lunch and another £10 into Zopa today, I am a millionaire investorNow that I think about it, I can update my signature as our monthly S&S payment has gone through.

Ed have you read Rich Dad, Poor Dad? Sounds right up your street. Don't let the b*ggers get you downA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
