Good luck Edinburgher, just think of the money you can save when you pass. Then all you need to do is get Mrs E through hers. I will be thinking of you and keeping an eye out for you coming back on here. What time is your test?

Hope your driving test has gone well today :).
  • Come on Mr E, where are you?

You're either down the pub celebrating - better not be driving :o

Or you may be hiding if you didn't pass - if it's the latter, just get it rebooked.

    Best wishes Tilly x

    5th of June :(

4 Majors (1 unfair, guess the examiner was sick of me by that point), 2 Minors. Horrible sickening feeling after less than 10 mins when he dual controlled the car.
    • Transferred my ISA interest from Halifax to Santander this morning, a whole £30 or so for the year. Can close those accounts now.
    • Cancelled our Lottery DD
    • Increased our S&S DD by the amount of the Lottery. Now £177/mth :A

Keeping myself busy, don't want to think about it.

At least it is rebooked. I failed my first test with 3 majors and 2 minors, passed with only 2 minors the next time. Hope you get plenty of driving time before the next one.

I am not going to lie - I have made use of the 750 Tesco Clubcard points offer when you spend £50 on wine...

So come Monday and I'll cheer up :D
  • Hi Mr E, best thing you can do is to rebook straight away. Now you know what to expect, and you know what to work on.

Well done on the wine purchase - sounds like a plan :)

  • Bad luck. Driving is a skill and your lessons really start when you pass, so take heart, chin up and better attempt next time.

Don't worry, I didn't see a cyclist on a roundabout as they were exactly in the spot blocked by the pillar on the car, instructor made a noise like *eeeeeee* so I emergency stopped for him. Don't think he appreciated it that much

It's funny now, wasn't at the time! :o

I'll take a week or so off and start back the weekend after next hopefully.

Managed to renew our Home Contents insurance. Have parted company with More Than, after the daft woman I spoke to suggested that they might not be able to offer me *contents* insurance because of historical subsidence :rotfl:

We are now with LV, with said historical subsidence recorded in the quote and above board.

£5 cashback and £1 a month cheaper. Increased our S&S DD by the £1 - HL will be thinking I've gone crazy ;)
