That would be super - best of luck that you get through it soon..... I remember learning to drive, thankfully it wasn't as expensive 17 years ago.. (ouch, did I just admit to that?!)...

The courier gods have a funny sense of humour - collecting at 15:30 leaves me not enough time to go out and do anything, but just enough time to do the boring c@rp that I'd rather have avoided - like collecting toilet roll.

I have provided the required offering of £5, but do so with an ill will :rotfl:

    Edit: 36 loo rolls for £5 - am I a contender? :p

    £630? ouch.

Thanks for your feedback re: EF - given me stuff to ponder :)

Eh? 36 loo rolls for £5? Where Mr!?

And I feel your pain with the driving lessons, I passed 3rd time when I was 20 and in two years have never once reversed round a corner. Have done plenty of 3-point turns though :D

£stretcher - the offer's almost always on. Toying with the idea of buying another 36 at the weekend, would probably do us for the rest of 2013 :rotfl:

Have you tested the strength and softness Ed? In fact, would you ask Mrs Ed to do the 'touch test' and report back please:D ( no offence meant;))

I was about to say the same as Natty, what quality of loo roll are we talking here? Puppy softness or school bog roll?

My bottom is as good a measure of comfort as the next :p It's perfectly soft - that said, we're not one of those weird houses where everyone insists on wiping their @rse with a branded duvet!
  • Personally I wouldn't risk it NP, esp with your current juicing habit. You need the strength!!

Right you - stop trying to hijack every thread with news of NP's addiction :p

Today has been a bit more enjoyable than yesterday, as I actually managed to get out of the house! Got going fairly slowly this morning as I had a horrible night (returning to work stress?) and ended up heading into town.

Got lots of boring stuff like toiletries and medical supplies. Also managed to buy our first 3 Christmas presents for 2013 in Boots :santa2:

The highlight of the morning had to be finding half blocks of stilton at 50% off in Tesco - the one Christmas foodstuff that I'd been hankering after and had none of.

Mrs E has transferred me £550, turbo charging our emergency fund and bringing us nearly 15% closer to our goal in one fell swoop :T
