NP - that was the most brilliant deception ever - colour me foolish :p

Got my cashback credit card statement in this morning, £100 earned and should turn up next autumn.

I have officially started stoozing with a £13.01 grocery shop. Sticking the money in an ISA at 3%, 16 months to play :) Mrs E is on strict instructions to use the stoozing credit card for all her shopping!

Nothing in particular to do today - only need a present for my Gran, all other presents that I need to get have been taken care of.

£1.01 into the OP Pot and EF. No spare cash left in our current account already - roll on the 20th! Guess I'll just need to fund our miniOPs from my pocket money savings account until then :)

Driving lesson in 45 mins - I am scared of roundabouts :o

Just remember that when the driving instructor tells you to 'go straight over' he doesn't mean that in the literal sense:D

Plus, no-one understands roundabouts and that's why no other countries have them.....

Enjoy the lesson and well done on the micro o/p's:D

Two pints and a nice pub lunch later, and another £32.55 is stoozed.

Technically I know we're meant to be all joyless and smarmy when we're saving money, but hey, fun is fun ;)

Apparently it's not a good thing that most of our jackets have been sitting in the hall cupboard in a bin bag since we moved in :rotfl:

I have purchased a coat stand from eBay for a very reasonable £16.90 that will match the wooden floor quite nicely. Not bad considering this includes postage. Also went through Quidco for a few pennies cashback, got some Nectar points and have stoozed the payment.

Very pleased to calculate that we won't actually need to pay for more driving lessons until January. As I had already set aside £600+ for the next block, this money can be treated as 'free' for the monent. How best to not spend £600? I'm thinking a top up to our household budget fund and an OP? :)
  • gosh, lessons are so expensive, I failed my first test, I rolled back at a roundabout which was an automatic fail. After I knew Id failed, I was totally relaxed and drove beautifully.

£15 to both the OP Pot and the EF. Might get another OP made before the end of the year at this rate! :T

Mrs E has a day off today and will hopefully be finishing our Christmas shopping, been in at work since 08:10 so may join her for lunch.

    Have a productive day everyone.
