Thanks Tilly :) Mrs E is nuts for venison, so even in sausages it's a nice treat.

So glad today is Friday, the last two weeks of work have been exceptionally busy and stressful, made worse by the fact that I don't get much professional courtesy from by boss. Has anyone else ever been employed by someone who treated them like a naughty child? :(
  • My current boss is great but the one before that was a nasty sneaky toad and even now I cant bear to speak to / be in same room as. Its quite amazing what a negative impact a bad boss can have on your sanity, considered myself very strong but it did really get to me, i still feel very angry and am a believer in what goes around comes around. My mate became really low and tearful and it took ages for her to bounce back.

Bad bosses are a nightmare. Ive had a few and BF has a completely useless one who never actually lets him do his job, just makes him write reports about what he is going to do meaning that he never gets time to do the things he writes about.

I have quite a nice boss but a member of my team is a backstabbing little so and so who paints everyone else in a bad light to make herself look good and sadly boss laps it up.

Sorry you've had a crappy week lula:( just popping over to your diary just now X

Edinburgher - re crappy bosses, I've been there also with a previous bullying boss, however I kept my head held high (although did often cry driving home from work) and found myself a lovely new job...I later heard that she ripped up my 'exit interview' and chucked it in the bin in temper - couldn't handle the truth obviously;) I still don't like her and that's quite a rare thing for me to say about anyone.
As HDK says, Karma will kick his/her backside for being a nasty so and so:)
