  • Actually you are wrong. Very wrong. Out of 'uniform' you are just another customer and are entitled to the same compensation if you get overcharged. Tesco also can't hold you responsible for someone elses actions.

If they sack the OP I think she'd have pretty good grounds for unfair dismissal IMO.

it depends on the contract that is signed FK, where i work i have signed a contract to say we cannot bring our place of work into disrepute by talking about it posting comments or writing materials that put the place or any member of staff in a bad light. we are told we are an employee there before anything else and should act accordingly.

Still pain killers appear to be working and the pain has subsided a bit, but they are def only masking the pain, as opossed to curing it.

So another day stuck in the house :(

Perhaps I should just go to the vets and asked to be put down instead, lol. I feel just like a Raggy doll sometimes (the cartoon, if any of you know it), like I've come out of the reject bin :rotfl::rotfl:

Hope you get relief from the pain soon and that they identify what is causing it (((very gentle hugs)))

posted the above without reading your subsequent posts. now that ive read them:

1 - you went into the shop with your OH and looked at the phone
2 - your OH went in to get the phones and provided a fake name and postcode for the DTD
3 - you returned the phones to a store 25 miles away

depending on what sort of evidence they are basing the investigation on,..the odds dont look very good, IMHO

I'm even more confused now - so far as I am aware a DTD refund has to be made at the originating store, you can't get it at another store as they can't check the original SEL. I was thinking that possibly the Ops partner got the actual DTD and the OP got a Golden refund at another store? Its not clear from the orignal posts

but thanks for pointing that out, i will use that..

Helen, another little gem of advice is to write ALL of this down. the conversation (and who they were with), the dates, the issues, the requests by T etc. In my case, the judge said that as I had a recorded/written diary of the events AT the time, that was taken as a given and there was no dispute of what was said, despite my companies protests. Having written evidence/diary is key. Also, at the mtg on Fri, someone MUST take notes of the key parts of the conversation. Again, this can/will be used as evidence later on, hopefully to your advantage. Once the notes are written, email the mgr who led the meeting, asking them to confirm and agree with the content. Try and do as much by email or letter as possible as telephone conversations are harder to prove. If you want to PM me, feel free.

me and my partner havent been in the shop together for over a week, i was not seen looking at the phones with him.
im assuming some body recongized my partner and most of told him to go and get them. but i cant see how they can prove that i told him about the phones.
i do not change the sel as thats not my job.
